Does what it supposed to do!!
Provided the surfaces are spotless the solder paste and solder will flow well, just don’t over heat!

Great kit, enough for the casual DIY user, both solder and flux work well. Recommended.

Work well even for a novice
Recently I start to get into plumbing as a DIYer. This happens when I hired a plumber who has no clue about real plumbing. So I took it up to myself watching hours of video by real plumbers on youtube to learn the basics of plumbing. Now I can cut a copper pipe, bend it and solder it. I no longer desperate to hire a cowboy plumber now.

Flux had leaked
Can't fault quick delivery but sadly the screw cap on the flux must have been loose as there was quite a bit smeared in the inside of the clear plastic packaging (see photos). That aside everything else was as described.

I had to braze a copper fitting for my first time so I bought this kit and YouTubed how. The most important part is cleaning the copper first. Getting the solder hot enough can be tricky too so don’t rush it just keep the MAP gas cooking and it’ll puddle.

not the best solder but gets the job done...

I picked up the package from the door step, and it immediately felt strangely light. So I'm thinking maybe it's just light solder? But no, no this is just a stupidly small quantity. I paid $18 for this... I'm gonna use it cause I need to get the copped put together but this is getting a 2 star review because low quantity of product = low quantity of stars. Hobbit sized. Even hobbits need more solder than this.
