Bought a Used pair through Amazon, excellent quality with ample volume.
I try to buy secondhand when possible, and I am so pleased with how this Used pair of Yamaha headphones work. As someone who is hard of hearing, I've always needed to have the volume all the way up whenever I played with headphones--but not these! The piano is actually painfully loud if I put it all the way up, which is a feat for me. I can play comfortably with the volume about 2/3 of the way up. The sound quality is excellent, I haven't heard my own playing this well in years. A good investment!

The Yamaha RH50A Head phones have a great sound quality and clarity is 100%, durable and easy on the ears, product was intact and ready to use, packaged very well and arrived on time, we would reccomend this item to our friend's.

Great headphones for the price
These are obviously not the best headphones but these are still good quality headphones for the price. The ear cuffs feel nice and the sound is not bad. For $55 of course these won't be high end headphones. I enjoy them. I use these for my electric piano. If you don't have a lot of money and was wondering which headphones to get, get these. It's also Yamaha. Reliable brand all around. Only complaint is the wire is short for whatever reason. So if you plan to buy these, buy a 1/4" inch Male to 1/4" inch Female extension cord with it so that won't be a problem.

Good sound quality and rugged construction.
The quality of the sound makes me doubt sometimes that the sound is coming through a headset, but rather from the piano itself! The plug is of sturdy construction and not likely to break or crack. The wire is of sufficient length to reach the jack on my piano, but it's very taut. I expect the coils in the cable will relax somewhat over time. The ear cushions are reasonably comfortable and I can wear them for an hour or more at a time, without discomfort.

Can’t explain how good it is
It you are looking for headphones for playing digital piano, you will be surprised by this headphones. It definitely confuses you if you are playing out with speakers or with headphone on. The clarity is so awesome. I got the feeling that it is better than listening on piano speakers. You get a quality sound on each notes. I haven’t loved a product so much in a while. Great product. Love it.

The product functions well, no issues.
I use the stereo headphones to privately listen to my music streams through my home Yamaha stereo system without disturbing others watching TV in the house. The Yamaha wired headphones are perfectly matched for my system. I initially tired using a pair of multi-functional headphones (offered both wired and Bluetooth functions), but the sound quality was horrible. I immediately returned them to the big electrics store and received my refund. I am very happy with my wired Yamaha stereo headphones.

Using with dedicated sound card...
Paired with a Soundblaster Z sound card and did a comparison with the HPH 50b also by Yamaha.Highs are decent but not crisp. Adjusting the E.Q. helps.Lows are horrible, bass response is not the best and missing a wide range. These are best paired with playing guitar, or midi. Now the HPH 50b will save you a few bucks and have very good range and excellent imaging. The highs are piercing and the bass rattles the jaw when maxed out. Great with a drum pad and editing. The sound reproduction syncs up with the reference speakers I have and the range of bass response when the 909, 808 hit, it's impressive for the price.Cons: had to replace the earpads as they started to rip apart and not the best fit if you have big ears.
