Really happy
I'm so happy with my purchase. They're are amazing quality. The material feels lovely. You can tell they've been made very well. You can really tell theyre not some cheaply product with cheap fabric and loose threads. They're amazing. I love how they're so vibrant and they differ in colour so much and even the hair styles being different. When using the puppets hands you can cover their eyes well to play peek-a-boo. My 2 1/2 year old son loves them and he has favourites. They aren't cheap to buy but for the quality and for getting 5 puppets it's really worth it and great value. It's helping my son name emotions and colours and he finds them really funny too.

Brightly Coloured with Clear Emotions but a Bit Expensive
The media could not be loaded. These glove puppets arrived in a simple, carded plastic bag.I got these for a friend as she has a son that has been diagnosed with autism spectrum conditions (ASC) and he has difficulty recognising other’s emotions. She uses these when reading him stories to demonstrate the emotions of the participants. It’s early days yet but it’s encouraging that he loves the puppets and does seem to recognise the emotions shown on their faces the more he sees them.I have quite large hands and did have trouble getting the puppets on when I tried them, so they really are for small to medium hands. These puppets have clear emotions on their faces and children love the bright colours. They’re reasonable quality but at £28 for the set I think they’re a bit overpriced so I’m knocking off a star because of this.

Vibrant, Fun & Very Helpful*
The media could not be loaded. 🌟 I ordered these learning puppets for my young nephew who has Downs Syndrome which affects how he communicates. You receive 5 x puppets per order that arrive neatly packaged➕️ Each of the puppets come in a different vibrant colour with a different pattern too. The puppets are designed to portray an emotion which helps teach children about their emotions, but also helps them express their emotions➕️ The puppets come in purple- surprised, orange- angry, yellow- happy, blue- sad and green- scared. The puppets also come with a booklet that explains how these emotions are carefully portrayed in the puppets and how to use them with children. It even includes some sentences that discuss emotions where kids can fill them in with the help of the puppets➕️ The material they're made from is lovely and soft. The heads are all nicely padded too. I discovered that the "hair" on each of the puppets is individually textured which makes them great sensory toys too. For example, the orange puppet has a crinkle material inside that crackles when pressed, and the green puppet has soft & hard felt for hair.➕️ The puppets are pretty spacious making them good for both adults and children to use. You can move the head and arms when playing with them.🌟 Overall I think this is a great activity for all kids but especially those that may need some attention to how they communicate and view emotions. We found these are great for teaching my nephew how to show how he's feeling as he still has problems communicating. We can teach him what each puppet portrays over time so that he can use the puppet to tell us how he's feeling. Great set with a very handy booklet.

Great for developing Emotional Literacy
As a Nursery Practitioner, I am always excited to offered for review any toys or books which I can share with the children in my playroom. I jumped at the chance to review this set of emotion puppets, as we have been exploring our feelings and the feelings of others in our playroom currently and I knew these would compliment our topic well. The set offers 5 different coloured puppets who display different emotions - Happy, Sad, Surprised, Angry and Scared. These are very well expressed with exaggerated facial features and colours associated with those emotions. The puppets fit small hands as well as large, so can be used by the adult or the child. They are safe for use from 18 months and are made from soft velvety fabric which offer a nice sensory experience - some of the puppets also make crinkle sounds when worn , which offers an auditory element to the experience too. The quality of the material and the stitching is very good. I have used these during our group time to talk about feelings and how we can identify them, and also used them as a focused experience with mirrors to explore how we could imitate the expressions. They are great for introducing vocabulary and critical thinking as well as emotional literacy. The only downside to this set is the price - at £28 these are a fairly pricey resource.
