I bought a Nady boom arm a while back and almost immediately, part of the clamp bent. It held up fine, but I wanted something sturdier. I bought a different arm and moved this one to my recording PC in the back. The nady clamp wouldn't work...the desk was too thick. It's over 2.5". My search on Amazon brought to this and I took a chance. It worked flawlessly. The clamp easily handled the desk, feels sturdy, and keeps the arm in place. That thing's not moving unless I work to move it. The boom arm fit snugly down in the clamp and now I'm good to go on either computer I use. I love this thing and won't hesitate to tell friends to pick one up, especially if they pick up a cheaper arm.

Seems like Neewer did some market research and improved on the flaws of the old design. This one is much sturdier and I don't think the clamping screw threads will strip out anytime soon.

Does mostly well. Stable on the desk but the mic arm kinda droops. Happened with every other mount I ever got ao maybe it just is what it is.

Only had it for a day, but VERY easily can recommend it. I have 2 cheap boom arms, one for a light and one for a HyperX mic. Both of the booms have great arms, but the clamps were abysmal. The one for my light actually completely just snapped like a week after I got it, and the one for my mic has been bent since the day I got it, so I will be ordering another one of these. These are thicker where they need to be, without adding bulk so it is still a low profile clamp for your desk. Highly recommend.

great! i had gotten a little boom mic stand for my desk but it didn't take that long for the mount it came with to strip out? i only realized it when i went to move it. anyway, this seems like an upgrade. at a glance, seems more well-built and i haven't had an issue

Comprato per sostituire pezzo mancante di una lampada da tavolo, ottimo e robusto perché di metallo, unico problema c'è un adattatore di plastica che restringe il diametro e va tolto se si vuole inserire un braccio da 13 mm come quello delle lampade. Per il resto tutto ok.

bought this to replace the cheap one that came with my also cheap mic. very strong and works well. i just wish there was a way to make the hole for the mic arm smaller so it's not so wobbly

Buen diseño, que permite el doble ajuste de manera fácil, y al no tener partes plásticas, se elimina el problema de roturas. Queda muy bien sujeto al tablero de la mesa. Lo utilizo como base para un flexo de estudio.
