Skechers Men's Verdict Boot

These boots right out of the box felt like they were already broken. Perfect size put them on when I got them warm 12 hours that day never once I’ve forgot all about them forgot they were even new boots. They felt so good thank you.

Followed review recommendation to get a half size bigger and glad I did. They are so comfortable and good material. Sturdy warm waterproof and don’t cause me sore achy feet after all day working on my feet in water and mud. Great product for great price. But definitely go a half size bigger. Five outta five for sure!

Ordered these based on all the great reviews on here ... and wasn't disappointed.First, I normally wear a size 10 shoe/sneaker, but I ordered these as 10.5, anticipating the desire to wear heavy winter socks in them, once the weather gets really cold. The 10.5 seem to fit exactly as I expected: they're a little big as-is (though still completely wearable without thick, heavy socks) and seem to have plenty of room for when I do break out my winter socks.Beyond that, the shoes look terrific, feel comfortable -- decent arch support, decent width, decent toe room, decent heel section. The tread is more compliant than I expected and provides a nice, comfortable cushioning effect. I've worn them all day without any problems.Haven't had them long enough to know how well they hold up, but based on others' reviews, I'm expecting them to do quite well.Overall, they seem like a good boot at an excellent price.

I'm writing this review 1 year after purchasing. I had bought these boots for my husband probably 10 yrs ago at an outlet mall. He literally wore the souls off them. Could never find them in store again. Found them last year and the quality is still the same. They're his favorite work boots. They don't hurt his feet and they're very comfortable. After 1 year they're still looking new. Will repurchase!

The price I paid was good. They are a work boot and the size 9 I ordered fit me well. They are comfortable to wear after I replaced the insoles with something with better cushioning and support in the arch. Unfortunately the sole just started to separate from the upper shoe so they are no longer waterproof and probably will not last much longer. I am not hard on my shoes and I generally get several years out of them before something like this happens. I have had a pair of Skechers shoes that lasted about 5 years when I wore through the soles and had to retire them. I like the brand and I hope for better life out of the slip ons I recently bought.

This is the 3rd set of this particular Sketchers boot I have owned. I buy a set every fall for casual wear during Michigan winters, only to sacrifice them to the lawn gods (my everyday job is in lawn/grounds maintenance) in the spring... Waterproofing has performed well in all but saturation level wet conditions. The first pair finally surrendered 2 years ago after frequent use during a wet season and everyday use resulted in breaches in the seams (rot) between the leather and the sole and general wearing down of the sole. The second pair is still with me and suffered similar wear patterns from work use, but never fit as comfortably as the first, causing pain from the feet through the knees and on through the lower back, perhaps because I tried a 1/2 size smaller my usual US 8.5. Through Amazon I was able to acquire my current (3rd) pair in 8.5 wide and it's working out wonderfully. The insoles are providing a wonderful support and comfort I don't often experience (in ANY shoe). My knees and back are really digging them! Great boot!
