Just installed upgraded air & oil shock on Engwe Engine Pro to improve ride. Just need to adjust some and good to go. I was able to tap out old shock upper bushings and used them like they said on new shock. Just use rubber or nylon hammer. And special thanks to Nicola for show and tell what they did on there Engwe e bike shock upgrade which helped me decide on this shock. Rode e bike this morning and some tooning . Much better ride now , great shock upgrade.

The media could not be loaded.  Installed it on a electric unicycle. I thought it would at least handle my body weight, 230 pounds. Installed it, test out how much resistant it has, it couldn't even handle me doing my standing pushup pressure on it . . . 650p, I am very disappointed, wish there was a 1500p or at the least 1200p.Edit: the supplier saw my review and they designed a 1500lb version just for me. Great customer service, beyond and above. I would give them a 5 star but I still have to test out the suspension to see if it does the job. The design of my electric unicycle suspension is also flawed, so I'm going to have to redesign my own suspension arm and test this suspension and see how it will work.

Better than a spring, adds some dampening to the ride. I installed on a SunSeeker Fat Tad CSX and fit was perfect, it's 5/8" longer than stock but this wasn't a problem. I do wish it was offered with different springs as the 650 pound one is a bit stiff for my weight (195). 450 would be nice. But it does improve the ride, not as jaring as stock so a good update.

This shock absorber is an excellent alternative to any of the expensive air shocks. For myself it works great on my custom built recumbent bicycle. The shock is a little heavier than the air charged one, but it’s bulletproof and works as good. The best part is that you never have to worry about the air leak ever again.

The shock is true oil damped with oil, BUT,,, The red rebound knob does nothing at all,.. A true dampening control knob would be on a separate oil reservoir... I removed the spring and tested the shock on my work bench. The red knob does nothing at all. You can buy a the same shock without the dummy red knob for 1/2 the price I paid for this one. Expect to pay over 100 dollars for a true adjustable rebound shock.

Smoother ride than the original rear shock on my Engwe Engine Pro

I got the 150MM one. Works well, but the red adjustment knob for controlling the springback fell off and I can't find a replacement one. My rating would be higher if this simple annoying issue was easier to solve....
