Q: What kind of non stick layer is it? Does it contain pfas or pfte? Or is it thermolon?

Not sure what the layer is made of, but can however say I am very dissatisfied with this so called "non-stick" pan after using it for a few years. Hardly as good as what I had hoped for especially considering we take extra good care of it. Spent such a lot of money and for what???!!!

The decision is yours. You can used both pans in the same way. The only difference being, except for the style/shape, is the lid. The Saute Pan comes with a lid and the Frying Pan doesn't.

Q: Is the emailed receipt accepted by the manufacturer when claiming the guarantee?

I had this pan replaced under guarantee due to breakdown of the non stick coating round the rim. There was some discussion with Le Creuset over my use and care of the pan (I rarely wash non-stick pans in a dishwasher). I took some photographs of the damaged area; Le Creuset accepted the damage was a manufacturing issue & replaced the pan.

Q: Is there a warranty included with the pan? Mine appears to be chipped round the sides.

Detail of the warranty would be in the booklets that came with the pans. No, I don't keep mine, either! I recall that the 3-ply pans have a 20-year warranty for the pan but only 10 years for the non-stick coating.
