Exceptional Performance and Unbeatable Value
I recently purchased the Jetwood 1:16 4X4 Brushless RC Buggy, and I must say, it has far exceeded all my expectations! This little beast has left me thoroughly impressed with its outstanding performance, unbeatable value, and all it hobby grade features that took it to the next level. First and foremost, let's talk about speed. This buggy is an absolute speed demon! With the power of its brushless motor, it effortlessly reaches speeds over 40 mph on 3s batteries. It's an adrenaline rush like no other! Whether I'm racing it on the open road or tearing through off-road tracks, the Jetwood 1:16 delivers an exhilarating experience every time. The standout feature that truly elevates this RC buggy is the inclusion of all-metal oil-filled shocks. These shocks provide a level of suspension and dampening that is simply outstanding. They absorb bumps and jumps with ease, ensuring a smooth and controlled ride even on rough terrain. The difference they make in terms of stability and handling is truly remarkable, adding an extra layer of confidence to every race. The high-quality plastic chassis of the Jetwood RC buggy is still worth mentioning. It's built to last and feels incredibly sturdy. Even during intense jumps and rough landings, the chassis holds up exceptionally well, providing the durability needed for long-term enjoyment. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail put into the construction of this vehicle. Another impressive aspect of this RC buggy is its remarkable ability to drive straight even at full speed. It maintains excellent stability and control, allowing me to maneuver it with precision. Whether I'm navigating tight corners or taking it on straightaways, the buggy stays on track without any unwanted drift or veering. This level of performance is truly exceptional and adds an extra layer of excitement to every race. Considering the quality and performance offered, the price of the buggy is an absolute steal. I had my doubts initially, but I can confidently say that this buggy far exceeded my expectations. It performs on par with more expensive models on the market, yet it comes at a fraction of the cost. The value for money is simply unmatched. To summarize, the Jetwood 1:16 4X4 Brushless RC Buggy is a phenomenal product that offers an incredible performance at an affordable price. Its speed, sturdy plastic chassis, all-metal oil-filled shocks, and ability to drive straight even at full throttle make it an absolute joy to own and race. I highly recommend this buggy to all RC enthusiasts looking for a budget-friendly option without compromising on quality or excitement. You won't be disappointed!

Huge potential with a major flaw.
TLDR: Great car, reverse is tricky. For the price versus the sum of the parts, this represents an amazing value. However, the remote has a lot of latency and reverse requires multiple attempts each time to use it. This is a tough little buggy. I took it to the skate park and ran it for a couple hours. I was not gentle. I eventually broke a strut tower, but that was after close to 100 hard impacts on concrete. The metal front and rear bumpers did their job and have a bunch of shiny areas from impacts. The shocks seem nice. They have a very good amount of dampening for the weight of the car. The car is heavy and has a more premium feel than I expected at its price point. The USB charger is okay. It's not remarkable in any sense and there is no USB wall adapter so you'll have to dig through your junk drawer. The batteries feel light for their size, but seem to deliver plenty of power for such a small car. The remote is the worst part of this package. It feels cheap, like an afterthought. It's operation confirms the cheapness of it. There is significant lag when taking off and reverse is difficult to use. Power cycling the remote sometimes resolves the issue for 10-15 seconds. Steering is proportional and the foam rubber surround is really the only thing that's decent about the remote. There is a third channel available on the receiver and there's a trigger for it on the side. The car is very stable for its small size and it handles very well right out of the box. I've not encountered any broken strut towers or stripped screws as mentioned in other reviews. It corners relatively flat and has very good acceleration even with the 2S batteries. I think the 3S batteries might make it a little unruly and hard to control based on how it works with the 2S. Other reviews mention a heavy rear toe-in on the rear wheels. This is common on small RC cars and helps them go straight. Upon inspection of the rear assembly this alignment is intentional. The tires contact the body on full lock and make it sound like a differential is about to explode.

Resilient RC car with very few limitations
After searching and reading reviews for hours on many different RC cars offered on Amazon. I made the decision to purchase this one and I have zero regrets. It is extremely fast, very easy for my eight year old son to drive and control, very durable thus far and with all of the jumps and loops we’ve driven it through. It still works perfectly. Here it is my list of pros and cons. Pros: Very fast (but not uncontrollable) Battery life is decent (about 15 minutes on 70% power) but it came with two batteries and that’s a huge plus! It came with spare parts, such as extra shocks and front axle. You can control the front trim a.k.a. alignment with the remote, as well as varying the intensity of the throttle. There are many more pros, but those are the main ones. Cons: The wheelie bar that came with it as an additional accessory really helps control the car when taking off very fast, but it is also the least resilient part of the car, and has already broken at the bottom screw, but was also able to be repaired with some super glue. That’s not exactly ideal, and is why it made my cons list. That is honestly the end of my cons list. Whether you are buying it for a younger kid or yourself (if you’re an adult like I am) I highly recommend it.

The seller that sent me the box did not bother to package the box and put 3 giant shipping sticker directly on the beautiful box. That was savage. But it has nothing to do with the product or Jetwood. (update) I received the second one in a proper box, but it was still covered in shipping and warning stickers. Whoever did this should wrap the box in palette wrap before applying the stickers. If you want to give this as a gift or keep the box, you can spray WD40 on the stickers and wait 1 hour, then it will peal away without damaging the box. Some people have no respect for the product they sell. As a RC veteran (nitro/lipo) of all scale, I can tell you that this product is 1/3 of the price it should be. This is not only well built, but well engineered. The quality of the product is absolutely unbelievable. My only complain is that it uses Phillips or JIS? screws instead of proper HEX. You get a lot in the box, a lot of spare parts, a lot of tools, 2 batteries and a lot of stickers. I spray painted the transparent second shell for the good days (see pictures). It has a very small delay with the throttle, but not the steering wheel. I bashed it fo 40 minutes in -5c at full speed on asphalt an in 1+ inch of snow. I even did a little bit of light rock crawling with it. That thing will climb anything with proper maneuvers. It also almost always flip back upright after jumps, even the bad ones. After trying it, I decided to buy another one immidiately, for my nephew. And I will definitely buy the 1/14 Jetwood soon. This thing is not a toy, this is serious hobby grade RC. It handles jumps really well. I feel that 2S battery is the max for this size. Don't buy the 3S battery, the speed won't make any sense for that size. Already at 2S, it is very much over power. You probably will use 70% power most of the time. I would recommend buying this over an equivalent Traxxas, Hpi, Rlaarlo and Arrma brand. While these old clowns sell RC cars twice the price of this one with old brushed motors without any proper batteries included. This Chinese company is treating the customers with respect with all the latest technology at decent price. No compromized were made here, this is the full package. Look at this thing, it looks amazing. It has even a 3 channel remote with a 3 channel receiver, so you can control something else if you want to. Another plus of Jetwood company is that they sell all their replacements and upgrades parts on Amazon. So you won't be forced to deal with antique hobby shop website and wait 2 weeks for the parts. Take a look at the Jetwood upgraded parts, bodies and tires. They are serious, this car can be upgraded and also maintained for a while. This should be your first RC and if you are a veteran and you are looking for a fun 1/16, get this. I hope the American RC companies catch up to the Chinese, but I suspect that things will get even better for the Chinese RC.

I bought two of these cars one each for my son and I.We love how fast and fun these cars are.I am blown away by how fast and fun these cars are.Sadly after our third time of playing with these extremely fast cars off road one of the differentials broke and I lost power to one of the four wheels.I emailed the company dorect and they immediately without hesitation sent me (free of charge I may add) upgraded new parts......and a little present for my son.....the cars them self are fast and very durable considering the rough conditions we put them through. They run on grass dirt and on cement (very fast)....they are faster then I thought they'd be and the battery and play time is about 40 to 45 mins per battery that only take two hours each to re-charge and there customer service is better then any I've ever dealt with. I would recommend this product to everyone a five star rating for sure !! 🇨🇦

Great entry level RC car. It’s very fats and handles very well. I gave it 4 stars because I’m having trouble with reverse that doesn’t seem to work all the time. Also, the body doesn’t fit properly. The front tires hit the corner of the body as shown in the pictures. I’ve had to cut the corners off so they don’t rub anymore. The batteries arrived partially charged. Got about 10 minutes on each with the 70% speed on the first battery and 100% on the second. All in all, I’m very pleased with this car. I hope they will fix the body problem unless I just happened to get bad ones…

This buggy is amazing, it handles well for the size on and off road, and has plenty of power. I run a 3s battery in it which turns it into a beast. Steering is very responsive, accelerator has a tiny delay which is not the end of the world. The braking is very nice. This car does just shy of 50 MPH with my 3s.. its more then enough power with 2s. I’ve been driving it in freezing weather and broke the front suspension mount. I went ahead and purchased a metal replacement for the front and rear. (Also Jetwood sent replacement parts promptly - customer service is top notch) The stock body would touch the front wheels when you turn, I just cut a small amount of the body to make more clearance for the wheel. Overall this car is super fast and a ton of fun to drive.

Update. Upon further use. The plastic components all break after a few semi hard tumbles. Upgraded to the 3s battery packs which it’s supposed to be made for going from 7.4v to 11.1v. As great as it may seem I have already had to buy a complete rebuild kit so I could use it for 3weeks which didn’t even come with one of the parts I needed. Now I finally get it working just to instantly break the read diff the running it just in front wheel drive (how not fun) to 1 minute later having the front differential fail. And that was all at 70% power not even at 100% ????? What a garbage item. So now after having to order a new front and rear differential and hoping that that doesn’t happen again, I will have already put into it just over what I paid for it ?? How is this quality acceptable ?? RC works fantastic, especially when upgraded with the S3 battery delivering its 11.1 V this car is ridiculously quick. I gave three stars due to the fact that it’s not very agile. I have only taken it off. Little jumps and ripped flatland and the rear suspension mount has already broken after three rides. I did order an upgrade kit to upgrade all the plastic components to metal without it is an extra hundred dollars, which is half the price of the car nonetheless it is super fun tips a little easy but a decent product if you’re willing to put the extra little money into it I have not received my upgrade kit so I have to wait about a month until that gets here which sucks because I would really like to rip it around
