I purchased this headset to use with the system at the gym to instruct a spin class. I got this set because I knew it would work with the set up. Before purchasing, make sure the system being used will be compatible with this headset. Since the gym already has the set up, I can just connect to the battery pack they have. There is a wire, but it connects to the battery pack which attaches to your clothing. I have to tuck the wire down my shirt so it doesn’t get caught on the handlebars of the spin bike. Without tucking the wire, I have had a few embarrassing moments where the wire has caught on the handlebars. To clarify, it is wireless as you you’re not connected to the system. But you’re connected to the battery pack which you connect to your clothing. You can walk around freely and move freely. It even worked when one of the instructors went outside and forgot to turn off the battery pack, she was away and outside of the building and the sound still was heard without any issues. There is a little foam piece that connects to the mouthpiece to help you not sound so winded. I can hear myself breathing but it doesn’t come through the speakers. It fits my head only if I have my hair tied a certain way, I think I have a small head because the other instructors who have the same headset don’t seem to have any issue no matter which way they style their hair. I sweat a lot while instructing and the sweat has not had any problem with the sound, I do take the foam piece off after each use to let it dry. It comes with 2 foam pieces so you can switch them out.

Durable and sturdy for high usage

This Mike sounded surprisingly well for its price point. The cardio pattern helps if you’re moving around a lot and you’re anywhere near your speakers. Some people said the cord was too short but they must have really long torsos. It worked fine for me with even some extra cable stashed in my pocket. Some reported it breaking in a critical area. I haven’t Owned it long enough to determine if it’s really fragile point. But I do tend to take extra care of my equipment, especially microphones. Only time will tell if the wiring goes intermittent at its connectors. Overall this was a good goodbye and I’d buy it again.

Im a GX Instructor for about 10 years now and I've been looking for a nice mic for quite awhile now since covid hit - I just want to have my own instead. Ive purchased a couple mics here and there but none of them really 'works' BUT .. This one right here!!! FINALLY!!! The search is over! I am so happy with this and im glad I found it. It works really good, quality of the sound is good - my students can hear me Loud and Clear. The product is very light, it fits good around my neck. It's a little pricey ... but its ok. I used it the same night and im so very happy.

I bought this mic because my first one which was the same lasted 6 months only. We use it in a sweet free environment and we take very good care of it. Well I bough the mic for the second time in June 2 and broke again in August 24. I’m now looking for a better alternative. I never write bad reviews even though I was not satisfied with an item or service, but this headset make me write a review. Hope they improve the quality.

Llevo un tiempo usando el Shure SM31FH para dar clases de ejercicio y ha sido una gran inversión. 🔥 El sonido es claro y nítido, capta bien la voz sin interferencias ni ruidos de fondo. 🎶 Además, es muy cómodo de usar, no se mueve ni se cae incluso con movimientos intensos. 🏃‍♂️💨 Lo mejor es su resistencia al sudor, lo he usado en sesiones largas y sigue funcionando perfectamente. 💦👌 Lo único a considerar es que, como cualquier cable, hay que tratarlo con cuidado para que dure más. ¡Muy recomendado para instructores de fitness y actividades de alto impacto! ✅🎧
