It’s a little bigger than I thought overall but not too big. Perfect size for my baby African Violet to grow into. At first I thought I got a defective pot because it didn’t have a hole in the bottom of the inside pot, but that’s how it’s supposed to be apparently! I cut off all the dead leaves and flowers, got African violet soil and fertilizer, and just repotted it. Let’s hope she grows back strong 🤞🏼

This two-tiered planter is the best design for African violets - it lets the inside planter absorb water from the outside part. That's the best way for African violets. This style is difficult to find, so I am pleased to find it here. My older planters also have a small hole in side of outside planter to make watering easier (one does not have to lift the inside planter to water). Also they have nice design instead plain white, but I do really like this planter and appreciate that it is available. Wish there were more planters styled like it to give one a choice of design, color, size, etc. The seller securely packaged it to avoid breakage - good job.

It is a great pot. Very good price and quality. I am using it for a maiden hair fern. They are hard to keep unless it is constantly moist. The planter insert is roomy and the outer pot holds a good amount of water. I have successfully grown a maiden hair fern previously in one. I had never gotten one to stay alive without this type of pot. Any plant that needs constant moisture will thrive in it. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I bought 2 African violets and then spotted this. I bought one. It came quickly and well packaged. I really like the looks of it. The plant in this pot is doing much better than the one in a standard ceramic pot. I will probably purchase another one.

This is the only way to successfully grow an African violet! This type of pot will get the right amount of moisture into the soil without damaging the roots. You can even put plant food directly into the water and it will feed the violets. No root rot ever! This 2 part flower pot makes watering & maintenance so much easier 💜! I own two of these and just bought 2 more in another style. Love them!

I bought this for African violets that were not blooming. This pot will keep watering regular and not too much. Can’t wait to see the blooms. And it’s so cute!

Just got my African violet self-watering ceramic pot and honestly, I’m surprised by how good it looks and feels. My husband was the one opening the delivery box and immediately asked how much I’d paid for it because it looked so expensive and well-made 😄 For now, I love the look and quality!! can’t wait to see if my violet loves it as much as I do.
