Its better than taking a falling tree branches on the head.
It’s not bad for the price. I put 3M hearing protection ear muffs on it. Head gear came set as deep as it can go and with the muffs extended all the way, they just get to the bottom of my ears. I’m guessing I’m average so, if your ears seem to be low on your head, this may not be for you with mounted hearing protection. My reason for only four stars.

It's just okay
It works for what I need and the price is right. It feels a little cheap. I immediately took off the chin strap because it is not great. The suspension is okay and the retention is decent. I like the built in visor, which is the main thing I wanted. The one thing I didn't consider was how to mount a light with the visor in the way.

These arrived early. Ideal for light rescue work. Good slide down shield.I would recommend these as they fit well and so far, do a good job.
