Easy to screw into pressurised container for carbonating home brew beer..

I've been a home wine maker for years, but only recently got into brewing. I bought a cheap bulb holder with a plastic thread and it didn't last long. The metal thread on this bulb holder is far better. Just remember to use the brewers best friend (vaseline) to lubricate the thread before use.

Good quality and it works as it should do.

Should have maybe bought the steel alternative. This does the job but feels flimsy

Be aware that it may not be suitable for soda syphons - even though the CO2 soda syphon cartridges are recommended for use with it .I bought it for use with a soda syphon but it unfortunately doesn't fit the syphon thread - hence only the two starsHowever it is probably fine for the home brew purpose it was designed for .
