Strong, well designed Hard case
This case is excellent and suited to my needs. I needed a hard case with a foam insert to store high-value sensitive electrical controllers. This case meets all my needs, and the pick-and-pluck foam insert was easy to shape to the required depth and position. Although the seal on the case seems more than adequate, there is still room for silica gel inserts to help prevent dampness. Time will tell.Given the price of some more widely advertised waterproof cases at around a quarter of the price of some, it seems excellent value

Exactly what I needed
I am a sports photographer who was fed up with broken equipment so I set out looking for a hard case and after much research came across this max case. It is rugged, well sealed and great value for money. The only downside was the pick and pluck foam which over time became a little messed up and I believe this to be because the foam it’s self was too soft for what I was needing. Over all I would definitely buy this case again.

Nice case, shame about the foam...
Over the coming 7/8mths, I'm moving house four times (long story) and I wanted something I could use to store my NAS, my USB RAID box, several external USB drives, and my Raspberry Pi not only whilst travelling from house to house, but whilst I'm temporarily living in each property. This is an excellent case and feels very sturdy, although I haven't gone out of my way to test either the impact or water protection. It's large enough to fit my Synology NAS, a USB two drive RAID box, my Raspberry Pi and four/five external USB drives. The only problem I had was the annoying 'pick' foam. The inside comes filled with foam that's almost cut into cubes which you then split apart and and remove in shapes to match whatever you're putting into it. I found that if you don't leave at least three cubes between one cut-out and the next, pulling the item out and pushing it back in a few times will result in the adjacent cubes coming apart on their own. Sure, you can buy replacement foam but it's pretty tricky to get it right. My advice is to search for tutorial videos (of which there are many) and TAKE YOUR TIME...measure twice/three times and cut once, etc. Plan out exactly where you want each item and mark the outline of each one, also making sure you take into account how deep it is...there are two sections of foam, so both top and bottom sections will need the same cut-out for each item.Good luck.

An impressive flight case.
I needed a flight case to move some delicate and expensive electronic equipment around. The Max range of cases are not the cheapest in the Amazon catalogue, but they seem to get the best reviews and inspire confidence. This one is a bit larger than I really needed, but I decided to go with it so that I would have room to grow. It's really nicely put together, reasonably light and should protect my equipment in transit.

super top quality case, five stars all day long.
I needed a strong carry case for a DJ amplifier, this totally does the job, really strong and well made with easy to remove foam blocks inside, definitely recommend this item and would not hesitate to buy another. This might look to be more expensive than some alternatives but you only get what you pay for, if you want a quality case look no further.

Really good alternative to the BIG brand
These are fab cases. Not sure if it's allowed to mention another brand, but I'm a big fan of Peli cases and that won't change even though they are expensive compared to others, but generally I say you get what you pay for. I needed one this size (the MAX520S is almost identical to what I had already) and as Peli didn't have one in stock I did a quick search and came on these. I needed it quickly so thought I'd take a chance. I now have 6 of them - says it all really, and I'm ordering another 4. I have a media and video business and have lots of expensive kit to protect, so it has to be water tight and sturdy.I don't recommend it, but one case with 10 sets of £200+ commentator headsets inside, was dropped almost 4m onto tarmac and apart from the expected scuffs, survived without an issue. I can't say it was designed for that, but I know my heart wasn't, as I watched it fall as if it was in slo mo. Maybe that's the best praise I can give it.

Amazing boxes
I researched for a while to find good sturdy boxes to store various hand tools in. I have one box full of plumbing tools and another with carpentry tools in. They’re a great size, cope well in the back of my van and being taken in and out of various construction environments. Quite pricey, but worth the money so far. I’m hoping they’ll last me for years to come

Max have become my go to over Pelicase
Great super sturdy cases that come with pick and pluck foam at a much more reasonable price than Peli - at least in the UK as these are made in Italy! Easy to get customised inserts printed for too from a number of uk based sites.
