i have pluged in the vga cable and dvi cable and it still hasnt displayed my pc

I use this monitor mainly for work, which involves a lot of numbers and texts with the occasional video streams. I bought this refurbished monitor as it seemed to be the best option within my budget. Overall the monitor works OK, definitely serviceable, barring a couple of things: 1) It's not the sharpest monitor, videos can look a little grainy and text/numbers are not as sharp as in more expensive monitors. Why this is not a big issue for me : the lack of contrast actually feels easier on my eyes, and while the video image is grainy the speed of refresh is good, so no compromise on the content. 2) The monitor makes a cracking / popping sound every so often. Quick search on the internet suggests that you can fix this by plugging the monitor directly to the power source (which I can't, given my desk setup) and setting the display to 60Hz refresh rate (which I did). This sorted the issue to some extent -- not 100% but with the new setting the cracking sound becomes much more infrequent. Conclusion : I'm still happy with the purchase, it meets my needs and is a good value for money. Thank you MicroDream!

delay for delivery could have been better

This monitor is great. I use it with my laptop on a standing desk and the only shortcoming is that it should be able to raise the screen by another 6 inches. So now it sits on some cardboard packaging, which seems a shame having spent decent money on what is a quality display.

Poor display. I can hardly see what's on the screen when I have this as a second monitor to my iMac 2013 model.

Another excellent monitor by Dell The image quality and display are exceptional and the price of the monitor is very good as well. The screen resolution os good and the usb connections are very useful indeed, lots of different connection options to connect to the screen as well. The screen also tilts, swivels and rotates which is very useful The only downsound to an otherwise great product is the response times for games it says the screen is 5ms, but I get a lot of image breakup regardless of game so I doubt this is actually 5ms

The screen has been in service for a little while while now and is performing well. All as advertised and I would deal with this seller again. Thank you.

Desideravo un semplice, aggiornato e funzionale monitor per computer. Direi che l'obiettivo è stato raggiunto. Innanzitutto ho scelto coma marca "Dell" perché ho sempre avuto ottime esperienze nella scelta relativa all'hardware informatico. Il monitor in questione è un "Matrice attiva - TFT LCD (Thin-Film Transistor)" retroilluminato a LED i cui elementi attivi sono posizionati sul bordo (Edgelight LED) ed offre una risoluzione massima di 1680 x 1050 pixel. La forma del monitor è 16:10 che personalmente preferisco ai 16:9 dato l'uso. La qualità della visione è ottima sia come luminosità che nitidezza. L'uniformità della retroilluminazione e la dinamica del pannello sono buone.

Io uso solo monitor Dell, sia in casa sia sul lavoro. Sono tutti molto buoni. Questo è il più economico nel formato 16:10. Attenzione per i più esigenti, la risoluzione massima è solo HD e non Full HD. Ma per un uso normale io non noto grosse differenza. Il pregio è per me certamente il formato 16:10 che per un monitor è molto meglio che i più diffusi 16:9. Pannello perfettamente regolabile sia in luminosità sia in contrasto. E' senza dubbio un ottimo monitor, per la cifra richiesta.
