Love this dog food!
The only dog food our doodle doesn’t stick her nose up to. So far, she loves all the flavors. We tend to switch it up on her so she doesn’t get bored. She loves the bison, chicken and turkey and beef and salmon.

Healing through Nutrition!
We pet-parents with picky fur babies, will go to the ends of the Earth to find something they love, and that’s healthy. Four years ago smack in the middle of Covid, my three year old Teri-doodle mix was whining & having trouble getting up. It was obvious his hips were bothering him. The vet came out with a handful of medication that I would need to start him on, saying he had hip dysplasia and we needed to avoid arthritis, etc., etc. and that really began my journey to find healing through food. I can’t even remember how many dog foods I’ve tried but I’m telling you there was a lot including home made and those that are advertised as ‘fresh’. Duke would eat it for a little while, soon turned his nose up at it. And then we tried SFP. Full disclosure I make my own bone broth and add a little at each meal to moisten the food. He seems to love all of the varieties and he’s now 7 almost 8! Most people who meet him at the dog park are shocked to hear he’s that old cuz he still runs, jumps & gets into mischief, like a puppy… And no meds! Super glad they’re selling it on Amazon so more people can try it. In the four years, we’ve been buying SFP I’ve only seen them increase the price once. But I do like the idea of eliminating the box that another reviewer suggested. Either way it is worth the investment, your pup is worth it!

Way healthier and better for them than kibble and they like it
My picky girl likes it, great to have for hurricane time too. Way better than kibble. They love it when I pour bone broth over it.

My dogs love it ! And so I love it !
My 4 dogs love it and so I love it. I use it as an important topper. I like the simplicity and the ingredients. My dogs have never thrown up, never showed to have a bad stomach. They are and look healthy and have a great energy level. The only thing that can be improved in my opinion is the packaging. The box containing the 4 plastic bags with the food is just fine, and looks very attractive. Not important to the dogs; but it is eye-catching to the consumer/the buyer. The plastic bags do not protect this type of dry food from being crushed when tossing inside the box. And as a result there is a lot of crumbled food, at times almost thin like dust. This happens to about 10-15% of the bags. Maybe some padding in the box could help avoid it. However all in all I am happy to have found Simple Food Project.

While it's been our favorite for a few months...
My dog has always enjoyed this brand. I appreciate the mix of ingredients and really did feel comfortable giving this to my growing pup (now 8 months and 50lbs). We've tried both the Lamb and the Bison flavors. She likes the bison more - however it seems like maybe there's been a change in the process? Or perhaps we got a bad batch? After letting her food soak in hot water/broth for over 15 mins (which is longer than we normally wait) most of the mix was so hard it was almost impossible to cut it with a knife.I had to discard more than half of the cup I fed her today because it was so hard it essentially is inedible.I'm not sure what's been going on with the batch we received last but unfortunately we're either switching the brand or the flavor when it's out.
