HariboStafetten Licorice Candy 2-Pack (2 x 175g)

True chewy licorice (not salty) with fruit flavored coating. The colors are funny--a dull purple, a teal dusky blue, olive green and a dark orange tan. Well, in Europe, you can't use artificial color any more (a lot of children have problems with it, and it is considered unhealthy.) So they use vegetable-derived coloring agent from grapes, blueberries and beets. Those aren't vivid neon colors, kind of dull. Think; those natural-dyed clothing people wear at Renaissance Faires.These were fresh and taste good, a fruity start and then a rich licorice (not just anise) chewy finish. The shape is supposed to look like relay race batons and the candy is "suitable to be passed on" in other words--share. But I don't want to share. These are my favorite.

I grew up with these! The colors are supposed to be bright red, yellow, orange, green and blue. These things must be either old or not stored properly.They taste like paint thinner and I want my money back!

I’m generally a big fan of Haribo, but these do not really taste like licorice. Will not buy again.

I grew up with these in Germany so was pleased to find them on Amazon. Fresh, and at $5/bag it's a good deal.
