Ideal for Table-Top Wargames. Dapol are a trusted and respected manufacturer.
this is a good model. Ideal for Model Railways, Dioramas and Table-Top Wargaming. I bought this one for the latter. The casting is clean and clear and the detail is fine enough for the chosen task. Dapol produce a wide range of respected and trusted model kits like this one. They are all good value and have been proven to be easy to build.

An imperfect kit, medium difficulty build/paint, but a lovely result once built.
Building took about 2 hours, and painting ended up taking multiple 1 hour sessions over the course of a week with it being so intricate in places. The instructions which came with the kit were practically useless. The plastic peices all had reference numbers molded onto them, but those reference numbers were never once mentioned on the instructions, so fitting the right windows to the right holes did come down to guesswork. Most peices required filing down smooth, and the roof peice arrived warped, but in the end I'm happy. The scale is good, and it fits in lovely on my railway. I will say the more time and patience you put into building it, the more worthwhile this kit will be.
