I'm a big fan of OPL and have seen the OWL in action. You never know when you may need to exit your car through a window if they won't go down in an emergency. Hope I never have to use this. There's peace of mind knowing that it's in my car.

I watched reputable videos & it seems like it should work. It is small enough to fit in my wallet, which is a big plus. I may go to a junkyard some day & test it out to make sure.

I gave mine to a friend who works for the fire department. I'd been carrying it in my wallet. She said your purse could end up anywhere. Wished I'd have ordered ones with the holder. Low and behold... they sent me the folders. I'm just sure they heard me. Lol. Next step. I live near a fire station and they have junk cars to practice the jaws of life. I wanted to check out this tool before gifting a bunch. I stopped down there today on my way into town. They had one car that still had windows. Even the fire chief who worked with me was amazed. Buy them for your friends and loved ones and get the envelope so you can stick it above the visor. This package not coming with the envelopes is the only thing in the way of 5 stars.

Although I have not used this yet(and I hope I'll never have to)I will say they are really innovative. They're small enough that I can slide in my visor where there's a strap that holds them in place.I chose to not use the sticky mount yet because I'm unsure of where or even if I want to since my visors have a strap.They seem to be really sturdy handy lifesavors.I bought two.One for each visor.I do love the size and how accessible they are because of their design.The other versions I opted out of because I pictured getting in a crash and asked myself what product would be the easiest to grab in a panic,easiest to use,etc.The other kinds I thought fumbling for my keys or digging in my glove box just isn't something I'd wanna do if I happen to drive off a bridge n needed to break my window.Or if I hit a tree n my car is on fire n i have to cut my seatbelt.Having 2 means i can either throw one in the backseat or the passenger can use it depending on who is in my car n where they r.Love these.

I mounted mine on the top of my visor, where it is out of the sun. The materials selected appear perfect. I am not sure if the plastic will become embrittled after several years, but for now it snaps back with gusto. I have slid it into the window rail and pulled it back without releasing it. I think it will do the job. I don't suggest you test it on YOUR car window since a small slip of the fingers could be costly.

I absolutely love this! It is nice and slim and can easily be reached in case of an emergency. Helps to ease my anxiety as well since I have kids in car seats.

This has become my go to gift for nieces and nephews as they start driving. I've also made it a stocking stuffer for friends and relatives. It is small and unobtrusive, but an incredibly important piece of safety equipment that is 3asy to use.
