The numbers are fading already and it’s awkward to clean but I am happy with it for what I paid. Not the best quality if you are fussy though.

Kettle really nice and does it's job. Only issue is it takes ages to fill and takes a long time to boil. But otherwise it goes with my kitchen colours which was important and it does what a kettle should do. Can't ask for much more.

Have used this for several weeks now & all I can say that's positive is "yep, it boils water" and looks pretty sat on the side.This kettle has some awful design flaws:The spout is set too high so when you pour, you have to tilt it a fair way to get the water out.Where you have to tilt it, pouring into a low dish/cup is really awkward & you end up having to hold the cup up to the spout, otherwise it it too high & splashes back out everywhere.Because of the limescale mesh it isn't a fast pour so takes an age.If you tilt it too much to speed up the pour, the water leaks from under the lid.Unless you grab the very back of the handle, the steam hits your hand when pouring.Filling it up has to be from the lid, not the spout as the mesh inside blocks the flow of water in & just piddles back out the spout.Not impressed.

Trendy, practical and quick

It's a different make, design and shade of blue from my previous one. It no longer matches my kitchen cabinets or toaster. I don't like the look of it nearly as much as previous one but as that was leaking badly after a good number of years of use I'm just glad to have a non leaking kettle. On reflection I should have gone for one with a black rather than a white trim as I make curry a lot. There's nothing wrong with it except my ideas of aesthetics..... it is easy to fill ...I simply put the tap firmly in the spout no problem there. No difference in weight that I'm feeling, light enough. No pouring issues, boils in the normal way , compared with others seemed very good value and as I got fed up looking in shops for a replacement blue one of same shade as previous I gambled on this one as was lucky to see any pale blue ones in shops. I'll get used to it as does the job. Just annoys me it's no longer a perfect colour match. It looked like on line that it would be. Will the white trim stain is the million dollar question - that time only will tell??
