It’s good, well known brand for a readon
This comes in various sizes and various colours. It is great with pastel sticks, oil pastels and pastel pencils. It also comes with a protective page so you don’t smudge areas you are working on. It’s a short review but it does exactly what it says and what you want it to do!

Best paper for pastels
my work is so much better using this paper rather than other types. It is expensive, but worth it. Works well with both soft and oil pastels

Lovely to work with pastels...really nice!
But when I removed the film wrapping the bottom right corner immediately started to curl up - a lot!The left bottom corner done the same but not so bad....was not impressed with this as it was not a cheap card.I have laid the pad on its front with heavy books on it to flatten the corners but this was not working. But on taking some of the pages out it has now flattened.......hope this helps!!

Still the best!
Although it's more expensive than some other paper/card, it's the best for pastel work. Pastel work always looks so much better with Pastelmat. Well worth the money.

Expensive but quality!
Expensive but does work well at holding the pastel and taking lots of layers.

Amazing paper for coloured pencil drawing.
Pastelmat is like no other type of paper. For coloured pencil drawing it is a game changer. You can get so many layers on it and do dark over light and even light over dark which you cant do on some other artist papers. It is quite expensive and you dont get loads of sheets but the results far outweigh the price. It does take a bit of practise to use but once you have mastered it, its amazing.Delivered on time and packaged well arrived nice and flat.
