These were awesome for my gardening unit. Super well made, great size and looked cute in a classroom.

I bought these tools to use for a costume at work. They were five teachers, so we split the pieces evenly between us. I love that there were different colors and would fit small hands. I have since added them to my gardening station at school.

A bit more sturdier than the cheap plastic ones corporate kept sending us. I initially brought these for a gardening lesson plan and they worked well. The toddlers and younger preschoolers were able to plant some green beans and some sunflowers. Now most of these tools live in the sandbox and most of them have held up. Pretty good value for simple gardening projects for children. May not hold up very long in the sandbox however unless you hot glue the joints. Colors are nice and the sizes are perfect for little hands.

These are wonderful sets. Sturdy. They have lasted well through 2 gardening seasons and still intact! The ends are true metal. Perfect size for children.

Great sandbox or beach sand toys. These are such a throw-back to mid-century pre-plastic products, many folks now probably never have seen toys like these. Bright, well-painted primary color metal young kid-size shovels, rakes, and trowels, attached by an actual screw onto a nicely-shaped and finished wood handle. Because they're children toy tools, the edges are slightly rounded to be safe. The metal gauge is substantial. I wouldn't be surprised if the grandparents wouldn't appreciate these toys more than the youngins.

6 pieces of each tool lets multiple kids play in the sand at the same time. The painted heads are smooth and not to sharp, the paint appears to be very durable. The wooden handles are smooth and have a gloss finish that should stand up to the elements.
