Fruited first year
I am always nervous about buying plants online because of the trauma plants can be put through by delivery companies. However this cranberry came looking exactly like the online picture. Root development was excellent. It fruited at the end of the first summer, just a few but a good sign. The plant "arms" have grown by a third in those few months, and have a naturally trailing habit so needs a tall pot or one that can be raised up, as well as ericaceous compost and ideally rain water for watering.

The plant arrived in good time, well packed and in good condition. It was much better both in quality of product and condition than plants received from other suppliers.

I'm not sure what I was sent was actually a cranberry shrub. Not even a sign of a berry eventhough it is a healthy growing shrub that I have had for nearly a year.
