Deep Woods Sportsmen Insect Repellent II, 6 oz.

I took this spray with us on holiday to Majorca. It had been previously been raining out there and we were advised that mosquitoes were biting. It worked 100%! The spray goes on easily and it rubs over your skin easily. Not too smelly either. Would recommend although it's one for the suitcase rather than carry on luggage.

Off! and Cutter are the best in my opinion. This stuff keeps the mozzies and midgies well away from me. Anyone that has experienced the mozzies at the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota FL will know this stuff is really good. Before a spray I was the breakfast bar for he mosquito. After a spray on exposed skin. No bites.

We used this to spray around our ankles each morning on a recent trip to Spain and used the same area of the balcony. It definitely works as by the end of the week there was a mosquito graveyard in the place we sprayed!! I only got two bites and my husband didn’t get bitten at all which is a really good result for us

I needed something to deter biting insects from attacking me or hitchhiking in on my clothes. I plumbed for this product because the description seemed to be the best fit I could find.

Used before works well

I cannot really say much as we have not used it yet . But in the past it has been excellent.

Sadly no effect

Went to Barbados in 2019 got bitten quite a bit,i bought the regular orange can of "off" while I was there and it helped and smelt quite pleasant,but I decided to try these ones this year and all I can say is WOW!!!!..last day here and not ONE single mozzy bite in 2 weeks!....However its not as pleasant smelling as orange can variety but not overpowering or unpleasant,a bit mildy chemical smell I would say,deffo better than jungle formula which is very overpowering...Overall a godsend for people that that get bitten a lot.. highly recommended.

Aunque parece ser que es muy efectivo, pasan varias cosas. Para la cantidad que trae, es caro. Por otro lado, el DEET no se disuelve bien en agua, con lo que a la larga se acumula y pasa a peces y demás, a los que acaba afectando. Parece ser que corroe el plástico a la larga. Yo creo que lo mejor un término medio; usarlo cuando se vaya a ir a un foco de riesgo, no para todos los días. Para todos los días, quizás mejor uno de esos que contiene extracto de eucalipto limón, o para echarlo habitualmente en una superficie puesta por donde entrarían los mosquitos, como ventana, mosquitera, puerta, arriba de la cama, procurando que no sea un plástico útil, etc… porque eficaz es, lo que pasa es que tiene estas desventajas. Parece ser que no hay demostrado daño a humanos adultos usándolo con sentido común. A niñ@s a partir de 2 años creo que mejor eucalipto limón y mejor en las manos no, que se las llevan a la boca, ojos, etc., sino en brazos, etc. Creo que lo mejor tener este o como este, de DEET me refiero, y otro natural de eucalipto limón, y usar cada cual para lo que mejor se le da.

Every time I go outside without spraying I come back in with multiple insect bites. This spray works for me.

Works well, doest have the chemical smell.

Have not been bitten while wearing and lasts longer than OLE products which do better job of resisting damage to materials. Good to wash off Deet once inside.

Excellent protection from this repellent which worked even in the rainforest amidst many hungry mosquitoes. The only minus star is for the relatively strong chemical smell and ecologically unfriendly pressurized spray packaging (which is also officially not allowed into checked luggage on airplanes, unlike pump sprays). But having had to choose between this level of protection and mosquito-borne diseases, we settled for the spray despite the smell. As it feels rather strong we preferred spraying our clothes and hair, and not directly our skin, as much as possible.
