Premium 50m Cat6 GIGABIT Copper OUTDOOR Ethernet Network Cable EXTERNAL USE BLACK

I looked around before deciding to order this Cat6 external network cable from Rosenet Systems on the Amazon Marketplace. It was competitively priced and despatched the next day so was delivered very quickly. The cable itself was supplied as a coiled length of 50m complete with RJ45 connectors at each end. I didn't need the connectors for my intended purpose, but at least I was able to connect the cable beforehand and check that it worked ok which is always a bonus if you're going to the trouble of mounting it properly, especially outside. The black outer casing of the cable is clearly marked up with the cable type, and also features length markings in metres - handy if you need to know how much you've used. I was very pleased with my purchase and if I need to order some more then this is where I'll be buying it.

The product is well made. I over estimated how much I needed and ended up having to cut to size. When I cut to measure there are the usual four pairs of twisted wire and each pair is partitioned by a plastic cross section. I was surprised to see the wires surrounded in some sticky goo which I can only assume helps protect it when used outdoors.The customer service was prompt and the delay in delivery (from Yodel) was resolved. That's the only reason for four stars.

Used this 50m spool for 2 x 20m runs from our router to our garden office. I was a little worried since the cable runs alongside power, and also passes through the cupboard our fusebox is in (and right next to the main lower cable into the house).Pleased to say that the speed of my broadband and ping times both measure eaxctly the same in the office as it does at my router. Of course there could be some loss but not enough that would ever impact on a practical level.Very pleased with product and price.

I ran this outside over the roof, and after cutting it I realized there was absolutely no goop in mine to protect it from the elements.No idea why there's none in it, considering I cut it about half way on one end. Cable is good, but I can't help but feel like it's not going to last as long as it could. I may be wrong, though. It might last fine even without it - hopefully...

Very robust cable. Got 200MB down and 20MB up, with 100m cable. Same as a 5m cable direct into router. Happy.

Sadly this is not very good at all if you after a high bandwidth product. If you are just wanting to get data from A to B I’m sure it’s adequate but don’t try to get a video signal down it. I cut the cable in half and still no joy. I have bought replacement cable from another supplier and all is working perfectly now.Another thing to note is when I tried to return the product I got silence so no way of getting money back.Buy cheap, buy twice.

Works perfectly managed it on my home but would recommend help for longer runs, simple solution when no power in desternation building

Disappointed with the performance of this cable. After reading the reviews I decided to purchase this cable, however when I tested my internet speed using a 5 meter ethernet cable, I received 204 meg. Using this new cable I only received 65 meg. Huge loss of signal, so will be returning.
