This stand mixer is for my mum's birthday present as she loves baking and she will be really pleased. The build quality is on par with something that would cost much more. It's excellent for the baking enthusiast and is capable of doing anything from dough mixes to cakes and everything in-between. Fully functional with different settings depending on your needs. It's a good size and really powerful. Really nice colour too!

I eagerly awaited the arrival of this much wanted stand mixer and prepared to make my weekly loaf. The hand book is very useful as it details the maximum weight of flour for dough making and also the speeds and length of time to run on each speed. Despite using a smaller quantity than the maximum load and following the instructions in the hand book to the letter, the mixer laboured and strained to the extent that the plastic frame started to flex. The motor kept slowing and cutting out intermittently, so I switched it off and continued kneading by hand. The thought crossed my mind that perhaps I should making a cake - however I felt that if one standard ball of dough was too much to cope with, it was really going to struggle when the flour was added to creamed butter, sugar and eggs! With much regret, the mixer was returned the same day and Amazon refunded without issue. Very disappointed indeed! My search to find a reliable, affordable mixer continues.....

Love this mixer we do alot of home baking and it’s simple enough for my 11 year old to use. I love the cream colour it matches other items in my kitchen. The fact that it’s easy to take apart and clean too is great. Definitely would purchase again.

I used this mixer on just two occasions before the speed selection control stopped working. Up to that point, it did seem to be doing a decent job but, when it failed, I looked deeper into a replacement, not wanting history to repeat itself. After just a little research I found numerous similar mixers that had much more powerful motors, bigger bowls and constructed from cast metal, not plastic.....and at a similar price point.I have to say that during use, this mixer does seem to flex an awful lot and the motor struggles when the dough gets more dense so I assume that a more powerful mixer, of more rigid construction will cope better.My advice is not to be taken in by the looks and the hefty discount voucher as many others are already at that price point.
