Aqua Optima Style Water Filter Cartridge, Pack (12 Months Supply), Compatible with Brita Classic, White, Count (Pack of 12)

I lived in a very hard water area for 13 years and believe me, run the cold tap and you smell the chlorine. In the beginning had a filter jug with various filters, some bad although Brita were the best, but at cost. Tried others and nothing beated these on first purchase, as good as Brita but at a lower cost. Now I use them all the time. One cartridge with my established usage lasts me me 10 weeks. I use it in my kettle and my electric vegetable steamer without build up on the heating element. They filter the water quickly and long may they continue. I often drink the water as it tastes like mineral water and no chlorine smell.

Really excellent filters at a really good price. We use them in our water filter jug and our instant water boiler. Without the filter - or when a filter reaches the end of its life - our water tastes of chlorine and not particularly pleasant. Having passed through the filter the water is a pleasure to drink (think mountain springs!). We also filter water to use in our our Opti-myst fire - which has run, trouble free, for 5 years, thanks to these filters. As we have soft water in our area, the filters last even longer than the company predicts. Delivery is prompt and the filters arrive intact (unlike some from the first company we ordered from!) I strongly recommend this company and their filters.

Bought this to try for my old Brita Classic filter jug. Was a little apprenhensive about fit; after reading some positive reviews decided to go ahead. It fit perfectly, so there is no worry about it if that's your concern like mine initially to try this brand out for the Brita Classic Jug. As for taste, I only started using it yesterday. So far, no significant difference so I'm pretty satisfied with this purchase.. Overall verdict: For the price, it's worth trying it out and see if it suits you.

These fit better in my Tesco jug than the Amazon Basics ones. It's true that the water seems to take longer to treacle through like other reviewers have pointed out, but eventually it does happen, and I don't think that's a bad thing, quite the opposite, obviously there is plenty of stuff i the filter to provide a good filtration. I can't see any difference in the taste of the water compared with other filters I have bought in the past. All in all I am very pleased and shall carry on buying this product. I have asked the manufactured where the the filter are produced and they were a bit vague and I quote "We currently have 3 manufacturing centres two in the Far East and one in Europe."

These water filters are a perfect fit for our original Brita water filter jug and are much more economic than the branded ones. They work well. I live in a hard water area and it is noticeable the improvement they make to the water quality. I am so impressed that now I have changed jugs to ones that take a different shape filter, I have sourced compatible ones from the same range as this.

These are really good value. One years supply, they fit my inexpensive (fiver with 1 cartridge) 2.4L Wilkinson fridge door jug, cartridge's are the same exactly down to the last letter on the instructions! They need to be fitted well home in the slot and take note that the don't leak and trickle down the outside of the cartridge as some of the water misses the filtration resulting in the water not tasting as good as expected!. If they do just rotate and push them firmly back in ensuring that the silicone sealing ring is firmly located in your jug. They are super cheap and really excellent value. Try buying water filter cartridges in France at 3 times the price! 12 euro for 3 !. and these are cheaper than Wilkinson brand in the UK when bought in a pack of 12, that's fabulous value for money.

I ordered these for use in my Brita jug which uses the original classic water filters. The only apparent difference between these Aqua Optima filters and the Brita seems to be the price with these working out at less than half the price for a year's supply which would easily stretch into 15 months of use if replaced every 6 weeks instead of 4. The fit the jug perfectly, there is no residue of any sort in the drinking water and no discernible difference in the taste or quality of the filtered drinking water. I won't be reverting to the Brita original filters again and have now used these instead for the last two years.

It's a good price. The filtration process is ok with a new cartridge but after a week or two of use, it becomes painfully slow, until it takes over 15 minutes to obtain a 2-litre jug of filtered water. Bit of black charcoal material appear in the top chamber as well which presumably is harmless.

Top, ein Jahresvorrat Filter zum akzeptablen Preis. Endlich wieder geschmackvollen Kaffee, ohne Kalkfilm oben drauf. Früher dachte ich auch, dass wäre sinnloser Quatsch. Aber man sieht und schmeckt tatsächlich den Unterschied. Solch hartes Wasser ist zwar gut für den Körper, aber der Todfeind aller Geräte. Und der Geschmack von Kaffee und Tee leidet doch deutlich darunter.

j'ai testé d'autres produits génériques pour ma carafe filtrante Britta( que je n'ai pas envie de changer car elle me convient très bien) et du coup j'ai eu beaucoup de mal à trouver des filtres anciens modèles (pas Maxtra ) et qui ne soient pas ceux de la marque (hors de prix) et qui s'adaptent vraiment bien à ma carafe Celles sont parfaites ne laissent pas passer l'eau sur le côté comme certaines et remplissent parfaitement leur fonction de filtrage !! j'en ai pour un moment et pour le prix il ne faut pas hésiter à essayer!

Los compré para una jarra brita antigua, y funcionan muy bien. Probé en el pueblo, donde el agua tiene bastante cal, y los resultados fueron asombrosos. Eliminó toda la cal. Hice una prueba a hervir un vaso y medio de agua un par de minutos. La primera foto es agua sin el filtro, la segunda agua filtrada. pd: Aclaro que es en una zona donde el agua tiene mucha cal, que es lo que se ve en la primera foto

Li ho acquistati e devo dire che depurano bene l'acqua che diventa leggera e gradevole. Si incastrano bene nella brita (almeno la mia) . Confezionati uno per uno sono pratici. Contengono il carbone attivo e pure i granuli di resina (li ho aperti per vedere) trattengono bene cloro e tutte le altre impurità. In sintesi un ottimo acquisto e costano anche poco. Uso l'acqua depurata anche per la macchina del caffè espresso CHE DA ALLORA NON HA PIU' AVUTO BISOGNO DI TRATTAMENTI ANTICALCARE (e parliamo di 2 anni..mentre prima ogni 6 mesi esigeva il trattamento) segno che funzionano bene.
