The Hunt: MMMF (Darkly Ever After) Paperback – January 27, 2023

I almost never write reviews for books, but I really wanted to for this one. I’m gonna be honest, I read this book for two reasons: 1. It’s a dark, smutty romance with a plus-size FMC and 2. Several of the negative reviews claimed that it was the most vile thing they’ve ever read, which made me go, “Hmmmm.”Not gonna lie, if you’re looking for a book with a long, drawn-out, fantastical storyline, you’re looking in the wrong place. HOWEVER! If you’re looking for a short, very dark, super smutty read with a plus-size FMC, I’d definitely give this book a try. I really enjoyed it, and I’ve already bought the second book because I liked it that much.Please check the trigger warnings, though, because this one is D A R K.

This was an overall okay read. Not really what I was in the mood for, but not a bad book. It’s a darker read. Take Snow White but deranged. Plus size sweet FMC, MMMF. ⚔️. Dark, pure Smut, m/m leads, masacist, somophelia, breath play, knife play, c”um play, impact

I don't even know where to start. Whew! Um a first read author for me. and and I like dark yep. This one is ALL that dark, intense and plenty of WTF moments.Broken meets the unbroken, but make now as sweet as she's thought to be? I get why the author did it, but the religious overtones I didn't like.The males know and readily admit to who and what they are, they're brokenness is individual completely different if yet the same.'she is a Daddys' girl, she knows about the life because of her ruthless Father, but tries to distance herself from it. All cute, smiles and sunshine.But then the beasts spots their prey and its one. Can the sun shine on the darkness? Read and find out. Again its Dark and intense and not for the faint of heart.

I am new to Mila Crawford. She was recommended through an RH FB group. Fairytales rewritten and reimagined as a naughty smut, I’m totally in. This author has a large following, so many books outside of this fairytale world.Pros: the guys’ true colours and psychotic behaviour is given to you up front. Their trauma is adequately described and consistent throughout. The character descriptions are great.Cons: some continuity errors, punctuation and missing words errors. If you were thinking these would be as spicy and erotic as Anne Rice’s Snow White erotica series. You would be absolutely mistaken. I found the smut scenes to abruptly end, without knowing who got off and who did what. It seemed a little chaotic. Then it just ended. The author goes overboard with Declan’s trauma in the way that everyone around him is constantly trying to discredit what is connected to his trauma and it gets annoying.I DNFed more than half way through, it wasn’t holding my attention, but I would recommend this if you don’t need a lot of spice, note there’s MMM (which was a pleasant surprise) and MMMF.

Yep.... another win from Mila!! I'm not lying when I say her books just get better and better! This story is absolutely dark and depraved and wonderfully delicious! I loved all of the characters! As broken and damaged as they were! (Gods I'm a sucker for broken characters!) I loved the plus size representation! And the fact that we're not necessarily talking about a little-on-the-heavy-side we're talking about an actual big gurl. There are a lot of us out there! 🖤 The spice in this book was 🤌🏻🥵🔥!! Actually, I recently decided that "Mila Crawford" has just become a standard for rating spice! Like is it Mila Crawford spicy or...... 🤣🤣 No joke, though! This is legit how I grade spice now!Overall, this book was 🔥🔥🔥. If you love a dark and twisted romance that's why choose with plus sized fmc representation then you need to read this book! As a dark romance reader it definitely checked all of my boxes!P.S. don't forget to check TW! There's always a lot in Mila's work, but if you're like me you use those as a shopping list! 🖤😈Now comes the hard part.... waiting for Mila's next dark and depraved masterpiece!

Well, there's no way I read anything else by this author. It's too much for me. Pay lots of attention to the warnings and assume it's worse. There's little to no story, just enough to move along to the next sex scene, and those are as crazy and dirty as anything else I've read. But, it is at least written well, properly edited, and coherent. Not my thing, but if you are looking for some very, VERY wild torture sex, this might be for you.

Serious trigger warnings! If you aren’t looking for a dark and dirty book I wouldn’t suggest this book. And I’m talking probably the darkest book I’ve ever read. It’s depraved and it’s not for the faint of heart. These three men are straight up broken, and they need Noelle. She is their salvation. It’s hard to articulate how truly dark this book is you will just have to read it to see.

Eu achava que já tinha lido autoras com mão pesada mas a Mila supera, já é o quarto livro dela que eu leio, tem muito hot pra quem curte, coisas que não li em nenhun livro até esse específico, tem uma passado doloroso de trauma e fortalecimento, é bem dark e bem pesado e o que mais amo é que ela não enrola na escrita, são livros rápidos que dá pra ler rapidinho e curtir a história, não tem enrolação de 400, 500 páginas. Enfim, mais um livro que estou favoritando dela.

How people have rated this so low, I have no idea. I read comments on here about people 1/2 star reviewing this, but didn’t even make it past 33%. If you don’t like it, you don’t read it or don’t review it. It’s really that simple. You go into a book like this and you should KNOW what’s going down. I thought this was incredible and I truly enjoyed every single second of it. Cas was my ultimate favourite followed by Lorne and Declan. Snow was absolutely brilliant and I laughed so much during this. The smut was 5/5, the plot was 5/5 and everything else in between was fantastic. Mila does degradation like NO OTHER and I am obsessed with it. If you want 3 men obsessed with a curvy woman then you have come to the right place. If you was smut and stalking, 🩸 play and 🔪 play, if you want aggression and dark romance ❤️‍🔥 they you should stay here! It’s fun in Mila’s world!!!

THIS IS SO BAD.I tried to read but it was too much that I had to stop and go straightto the end to write this teview...Blasphemy, insensible comment , littéral insult toward GOD.Girl no that wasnt it.I genuinely want to burn down the memory of the sentences I read.No No No girl that was so direspectful and Not It.Feel like you had some PTSD

Ma’am…this is not a complaint, but I wish this book were longer. I even skipped two other reviews cause y’all… what kind of substance did she lace into this story ? Let me start off by saying that I LOVE when religion is heavily discussed within taboo stories.My baby Declan has been through some sh... I’m not even trying to get too personal but I can relate to him the most (as far as his experience with toxic religious indoctrination goes). His coping mechanism had me damn near crying. Don’t get me started with his need for penance after succumbing to temptation.- As for Caspian: Thinking of is childhood and upbringing just infuriates tf out of me. I mean all of their childhoods were EFFed up but damn…- Lorne is one crazy MF…but oh do I love his submissive side.- Yes all three of them are monsters and they’re more that just rough around the edges, but when it comes to their girl Noelle, they’re the most sweetest brutes.😂This story was deliciously written. Don’t jump into this if you’re not into DARK and scorching hot books.
