Quality Pencil
I use a lot of drafting equipment for my job and have many quality pieces of drafting equipment, but this pencil is great, now being added to my other quality equipment. It is very well made entirely from metal, which is well engineered. Although this might seem a lot for a pencil, those who know, will appreciate the build quality, design principal that goes to making the day job more easy and much more pleasant with kit like this. I really cannot fault it at all, so in all I am very happy with my purchase. To the potential negative comments, yes, it is only a pencil, but not just any pencil...

A Quality clutch pencil, at a very good price.
When I started drawing several years ago, I was fortunate enough to purchase several clutch pencils and packets of leads from a charity shop. Two packets of leads were 5.6mm and did not fit any of the clutch pencils I had at the time. After reading the reviews of the kohinoor 5311 I decided to buy one, and it is great. It is made of metal has a nice weight, easy to hold and comfy due to the 3 indentations running along the length of the barrel, the clutch mechanism grips the lead really well. The cap holding the sharpener screws into the top end of the pencil. Finally it is a pleasure to use. For the price it is worth every penny!

Heavy Metal, 6 stars
The person who gave this 4 stars because it's made of tin was either reviewing baked beans or... No, can't think of another reason! This is one of the most impressive tools I've had the pleasure to use. It is heavy, solid, black, shiny and reminds me of my Leatherman Crunch, but better. It is over engineered and looks like a German pistol. One could use this lead holder in a sci-fi film. Maybe the next light (heavy?) sabre. Seriously, this Koh-i-Noor pencil is a fine drawing instrument. Sadly the holder for smaller leads is only built like a troop carrier to the 5.6mm tank of this model. It too, however, is as good as you can get anywhere else - I just miss the pocket clip held by an Allen bolt!

A great pencil for anyone who needs to draw or sketch in front of clients
This is a review of a clutch pencil, so I have not rated it for “sheerness” as requested by Amazon. Instead I can tell you that it is a beautiful and beautifully made clutch pencil taking 5.6mm leads. Armed with a pack of 6B and a pack of 2B graphite leads you’ll be able to write, sketch, draw or shade pretty much anything, and people around you will be impressed by your choice of pencil. Great for artists, designers, architects. The only minor criticism I have is that the recommended leads are a little too long to retract fully inside the pencil but I expect there are shorter ones available.

Comfort yet Faulty
I love koh-I-noor products. I already had the cheaper basic clutch but wanted to try the more expensive upgrade with a clip and lead sharpener. This clutch had a very nice weight and loved it. But the clip immediately broke off. I can’t get it back on.

A quality instrument
Someone has put a great deal of thought into the design of this instrument. I call it that because it is not just a pencil. Every single aspect of this tool has been carefully considered and beautifully crafted. It is extremely robust and it has clearly been designed to be busy. When you buy one ensure you use the best quality leads as this instrument deserves it.

Great
I love this clutch holder so much! Does the job. It's heavy; However, it is still comfortable to hold, and should not pose an issue. What makes this model unique is its sleek and cool design, and the sharpener at the cap. The design makes it worth its money, however the sharpener inside doesn't seem to come in handy for me personally and doesn't get the lead sharp as I need it for sketching. That asides, I believe it is worth the money for its design and purpose, but if you want a clutch holder that functions the exact same way for cheaper (and only lacks a sharpener and "cooler" design) I'd say the 5.6mm 5344 model is a better choice.

This gives feeling of holding an engineering instrument. It has been well balanced to write . There is nothing to corrode. It is for life-time.
