The power supply failed in my Dell XPS and this was a compatible replacement based on the original Dell part number. Not the easiest replacement due to my model Dell system having a CPU cooler that covers the CPU power connector. This works perfect, has all the right connections at the right lengths, and it gave me the opportunity to deep clean everything and reapply fresh thermal compound for my CPU as that was part of the process for my situation.

I ordered this to replace the intermittently failing power supply on my Dell XPS 8930. It looked identical and there were no obvious wiring problems or apparent damage to the case. After switching the units, however, it would not power up at all. I followed the troubleshooting procedures, but I still could not get a response from the unit. I put the old one back in and it fired right up (though it still gives me trouble now and then). I returned this for a refund.

This power supply fit perfectly in my Dell XPS. Installation was quick and easy and it brought my PC back to life.

We Installed, and worked fine for about 24 hours, then PSU popped several time and turned off. Filling the room with burnt wire smell. Lucky PC was fine after installing old PSU that has a loud fan(reason I changed it out). New PSU was not what we expected and will be retuning for a full refund.
