Great price, arrived in good condition.
Trees arrived in good condition. The trees are about 1.2m in height.Pots are plastic and one has a split down it’s side. I’ve not contacted seller about it as this is a minor thing as they will be moved into more aesthetically pleasing pots later on next spring. The complimentary citrus feed tub of granules was a nice addition to this purchase. Will last a while as one small scoop makes 500ml of feed.No flowers on the trees as yet , however, new green shoots/leaves have appeared over the past few weeks and both trees are doing well in the glasshouse. The trees look to want to grow thorns/barbs and previous thorns/barbs look to have been cut off the main stem prior to delivery.Keeping Green Fingers crossed for flowers and fragrance followed by orange and lemon fruits.Updates to follow...Nov19 - Varieties supplied were Eureka (lemon), Lane Late(orange). Bothe are kept in the lean too and temperatures dropping to around 10degC. at present. Both specimens are looking healthy. No sign of any flowers as yet.30thDec2019 - flower buds on lemon tree. See photo.10thFeb2020 - lemon tree one flower openOver the past few weeks Of the darker winter nights the lemon tree has dropped about the upper most leaves, most likely due to low temperatures. Will have to put a fleece over the top of them next winter period to see if that helps at all.Mid-March2020: The year of Covid 19 virus. The orange and lemon tree have been subjected to spider mites attack. That explains the increase in leaves dropping. Once identified, treated with Trounce(available on Amazon) and it has effectively stopped the little blighters on the lemon tree. The few flowers that were left on it have pollinated and four lemons are starting to grow. The orange tree, the larger of the two, has recovered well but needs further treatment.I am trying a predator bug of the spider mites and hope it will finish them off. If not, I’ll revert back to using the Trounce control method. Orange tree is nearly in flower, with many buds close to opening.April 2020:The orange tree flowering and fragrant has moved onto developing fruits. Spider mite pest are active again and hoping the predator mites I purchased hurry up and get to work. See my review on those type of predator for more details.12th April 2020:Looks like the predator mites have won the day against the RSM. Appear to be clear of the pests and no leaf drop occurring. Orange fruits are increasing in size by the week.It is now a case of weekly feed and wait to ripen.May 2020: return of the RSM. I have resorted to use of Trounce organic insecticide and after two treatments , three days apart and RSM are not in sight . A third treatment applied, again three days after last treatment, as others experience advise to be safe than sorry. No untoward effects to fruits and they are 2xpea size.June2020: Both are in flower again and fragrant.Lost the Orange fruit due to RSM and treatment to rid them. New fruits on tree and wait and see. Both outside as temperatures are well above the 10degC.November 2020 update:The lemon tree with fruits that are comparable size to that you can purchase. See photo.Jan 2021: photo update and noticeably yellowing fruit

Great plants
Both arrived in good condition and quickly. They look great so far but just arrived so I don’t know how they will thrive. However one of them had lots of dust/ mud on the leaves which I had to spend quite a bit of time cleaning off ; not sure what it was

Love my citrus trees!
Bought these trees back in April and have been surprised by what good value they were.Initially they arrived looking a bit worse for wear with some minor damage to some of leaves (see photos) and one of the pots was damaged but I think this is to be expected as they have traveled in the post after all! Overall the trees looked healthy and with no pests attached!I re-potted both trees in slightly larger pots and waited anxiously for flowers/new growth to appear. For a couple of months nothing happened but then all of a sudden the lemon tree burst into life and is now covered with many flower buds and the orange tree is growing lots of new green shoots. I understand that it will take a long time for the fruits to grow and mature but I look forward to having my own citrus fruits next year.I would recommend these trees but don't expect them to come with fruits attached like in photo's. Be patient and they will grow!

Lemon tree
Plant arrived early and looked healthy although the leaves were a bit curled. On repotting it I found it's soil riddled with insects. They look like ants but I don't know what spider mite look like.I have ordered a spray but am highly allergic to ants. Last time I was bitten I had a blood transfusion so am desperately concerned.Happy with the plant but desperately unhappy about the care it's had.It does seem to have settled in it's new place but time will tell.

Huge variance in quality - and a pain to return!
Huge variance in quality! the Lemon tree is fine - as described, 4ft high, good spread of foliage. But the orange tree is a fraction of the size - it looks a year younger! and the leaves seem to have a disease of some kind. I certainly would not have picked it from a Garden Centre - which is ironically who YouGarden are trying to compete with. with such poor variance in quality I would certainly tread carefully with your important purchases for your garden. Garden centres may be a bit more expensive - however, for the hassle and cost for me now - I should have gone to the Garden Centre.Thing is, I now get stuck in the loop of returning items where Amazon will pay just £4.75 towards P&P. The box is unusable as it's a special plant box and impossible to open without ripping it as its very well glued. So I am now inconvenienced, out of pocket and frustrated - all because of a low quality item - how is that customer centric!!
