Arrived in good time, good item for holidays

Use on holiday and at home and these help prevent bites! Only bitten a couple of times on recent trip to Mexico and friend bitten many times without bands! Recommend them although I find need to replace every 7 days for maximum effect.

I originally bought these mosquito bands for the family for a trip to Jamaica. I was so impressed that I bought them again for a trip to Kenya on Safari! On both trips i was impressed by the performance of the bands in repelling mosquitos. They are laced with Citronella fragrance and last for around 5 days each if you take care of them. Do not try to wear them in the pool as chlorine tends to wipe out the scent quickly. I always retain the original plastic pouch to put them in while in the pool as it seems to replenish the scent slightly. Used wisely there should be enough for a family of 4 to last a full 2 week vacation. I do however supplement them with Citronella and lemongrass oil which can also be put in the pouch to refresh the bands.

We used these band on a recent trip to Menorca. On previous visits my partner received numerous bites despite using a different brand / type of these bands. On this trip she only got a single bite. Now we did use other precautions such as insect repellent etc. as we normally do so its difficult to say that these bands are the sole reason for this, but they definitely seemed to help.Onto the bands themselves, you a great variety of different colours so you can match them with what you are wearing. They look nice, with each band consisting of two related colours and seem really sturdy too. What's also great is that they are also individually packaged so they don't lose any scent after opening the main packet.The scent is pleasant, and no over powering and they do seem to last a while too. We didn't test the touted 250 hours in the description, but changing to a new one after three days, just to be sure, the original still had the scent.Overall very happy with the bands, I've just purchased another set for next time.

Absolutely useless, even swapping them on a regular basis for new ones we got eaten alive. Save your money and look elsewhere.

They look nice different colours . For me they didn’t work and still got bit a lot . But that may be I always get bit a lot

I am prone to being bitten and decided to try these bands for a holiday in Koh Chang, Thailand. They arrived quickly and were packaged individually. I put a band on before I left my home and wore at least 1 (sometimes 2) for the whole holiday but I was bitten numerous times unlike my husband who didn't wear a band but never gets bitten. They had a nice smell and were attractive but sadly, I don't think that they made any difference for me although they may work for others.
