Firstly, it arrived in 2 days - Great service. Next, it works really well and is easy to fit if you can handle a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. The instructions provided are very clear and concise and include pictures just to make them foolproof. I soldered the crimped connectors as well, but that was my personal choice. I've used mine to control a B&D mini drill/rotary tool and in my opinion is the best thing you can do to these pieces of kit. No more fiddling about switching it on and off every time you put it down and an absolute boon when using the tool with a flexible drive. Just pick up the tool head, press the pedal and off you go at whatever speed you want. As you can possibly gather, I can't speak too highly of this foot pedal controller. If it controls a sewing machine as well as it does my rotary tool, it's a must for replacing any old "dodgy" foot pedals.

I bought this to replace the pedal on a 25 year old Janome 5000 sewing machine, works well, good clear instructions. easy to wire up. great product.

Easy to fit, my lead just slid onto the terminals. The base plate was only plastic so I used the metal base plate and heat shield from the old pedal.

Nice and easy to wire. Instructions different to online and original wiring. Needs to be checked before sending it to avoid surges.

Bought to replace a damaged foot control on a vintage sewing machine.There were no instructions to wire the foot control up to existing leads and plug. It was only by finding instructions on-line firstly how NOT wire a foot control then how to wire it up correctly, was it possible to set it up. An explanation sheet should have been included Once set up the foot control worked fine and is running well.

Its not complete, I was expecting the Plug bit to be attached. Still in the box.

Good quality and service

It may fit many sewing machines but a list of those it does not fit would be helpful as it does not work with Husqvarna and Hugin machines, I only tried it on a Husqvarna Viking Rose and Romeo and a Hugin 1300 but it is not compatible. Possibly because the Husqvarna set up is DC and not AC
