Well-constructed, sturdy, nice finish. This thing is solidly put-together, with no visible fixings. Simple, sleek, and a good price at the £5.99 I paid.My one niggle is it's not quite wide enough for the jumbo rolls I buy (pictured), meaning the rolls are overhanging the base, and the friction that would otherwise keep the paper from unfurling isn't there. I'd imagine it's wide enough for a standard kitchen roll.An upgraded version would maybe benefit from a second dowel to prevent this, but for a basic model and at £5.99 I really can't fault this. I actually bought a second one for my kitchen (where I make sure to keep it well away from the stove due to the aforementioned unfurling issue!)

Made from sustainable rubber wood, this kitchen roll holder is attractive and environmentally friendly. However the holder is not very well attached to the base. The screw thread in the base sits slightly proud, so the holder is always loose and wobbles around. Quality materials let down by poor workmanship.
