Even with pilot holes drilled first, this product sheared immediately. Unfortunately, the low screw quality made a waste of the nice hardwood I’d bought for my bench. I replicated the shearing behavior at least three times in a row. Each time was after having drilled a pilot hole first.

These wood screws worked great. I used them in ash, predrilled the holes and coated them with beeswax before I screwed them in. So far after installing 50 screws I haven't broke off any of the heads.

You can’t drive these screws with and electric screw driver or drill because they break. Also, I tried backing out some that did not break and they broke. I have other screws that handle what I want to do without a problem. I don’t recommend these unless you are a weak grandmother with a screwdriver - maybe then they would not break.

Screws look fine, but if you say you're selling a 75 screw package, you shouldn't shortchange the customer with an open box missing 5-10% of them.

We used these screws to build something with unfinished pine boards and they were absolutely pathetic. They strip incredibly easily and will break if you try to sink them flush with the wood. I would not recommend
