The factory one finally just broke, not sure if a kid broke it or it just weakened over time. Got this new one installed and working properly. You have to drill out the old rivets to install this one. The old rivet were a little bit of a challenge, but installing this new latch was not an issue. Appears to be same material as the factory latch.

This worked as a good replacement. I'm glad of this 3rd generation as the fit is good and didn't have to drill out the rivets. I drilled a pilot hole to ensure the self tap screws didn't walk. I would have given this 5 stars but the screws need to be black in color. It looks cheap with silver screw heads. I colored the screw heads black with a permanent marker.

I have a 2019 Buick Enclave with the common problem of the rear moonroof will not stay closed. This part does not seem to be a perfect fit. It did install easily (5 minutes wit a drill and Phillips bit). It did latch the rear moonroof closed, but didn't seem real secure. I am concerned that it will not hold. If it does I will increase my rating, if not I will request a refund.
