Founded in Switzerland in 1902 the manufacture of Pfeil tools combines state of the art technology with time tested methods ensuring consistant tool shaping and quality. All Pfeil tools are sharpened and honed ready for use and are made from a special tool steel that combines outstanding elasticity with unsurpassed edge holding properties. Every tool is electronically hardened to exacting tolerances and tempered to RC55-61. All steel surfaces are smooth and polished and inside sweeps are finely ground and polished. The easy to grip octagonal Swiss ash handle provides sure control and an internal steel ferrule under the full boslter prevents the handle from splitting. The handle is then finished with a solvent free laquer or natural oil. These full size tools feature blade lengths between 110-135mm with an overall tool length of 245-270mm.
