Is the cream more beige or yellow ?

It’s more of a cream color. But the colors are way more vibrant than the picture and I was looking for something more Shabby chic. The pink in it is almost hot pink.

Does this feel like a quilt? Is it soft it scratchy material

It’s soft. It feels more like a quilt. I stick my feet out from under the covers every night and I can’t STAND scratchy polyester feels.

Colors are true to the picture; background is a pale butter yellow with sage, teal, rose and blue floral design. Vintage feel without looking old...

Is the background of vintage rose cream or off white? It looks rather yellow but it could be lighting.

It is not yellow...that's probably just me. ;) It is an off white (cream) I absolutely love my set. It is multi purpose and reversible. The picture is deceiving though. The back side is not what you see in the picture. It's very similar to the front...but, pretty.
