Great for a crwatismall garden
Exactly what I was looking for. I planted 3 tomatoes and 4 green peppers. It may get a little crowded when they get bigger. When we were putting on the shelve we didn't realize you needed to leave a space between every board. It still works. Really worth themoney.

Great raised bed to plant specially if you have limited space.
Great raised bed to plant specially if you have limited space. It takes time to install with manual tools but a drill can help make it faster. It came with instructions how to install. The diagram is kinda small but you can also figure it yourself like a lego.Once installed, it sturdy and can hold a good weight. Great buy specially the price compared to to other alternatives. In fact, this is my second time buying it as it just works for me and now I am growing food and will harvest soon. :)

Real wood
I assembled it in a little under 2 hours by myself ( I’m a retired woman). I used a box to hold part of it up as a “helper” since I didn’t actually have a second set of hands to help me. It would be easier and a lot faster with two people! The instructions are lacking so I would suggest laying the pieces out the way they go before assembling because it would be easy to put them together wrong. Also, when you put the pieces in place consider using a large framing square- before you attach the screws- just to make sure that it will all fit together properly because there’s a lot of play, it doesn’t go together as precisely as some of the particle board cabinets and such. Lastly, but very important, the wood which isn’t predrilled will crack when you attach the screws. What I did was to place the wood pieces together and then put one of the screws through the hole in the wood piece that was predrilled and push it into the wood of the piece that attaches (the pieces were labeled with stickers). Then I removed it and drilled it with a smaller drill bit than the screw. The wood is very soft so it marked very easily with just a little pressure on the screw. If you have a workbench you could use a clamp to hold the pieces together and make the pilot holes with the pieces in place and then attach them with the screws and that would be faster. I had to assemble mine on my laundry room floor-kind of a pain. The wood isn’t sealed and since it’s fir or pine it’s not really weatherproof at all, but I plan to use a nontoxic clear coat because I want to plant veggies and herbs in it. I guess it’s probably sturdy enough, we’ll see after it’s full of soil but I think for the price it’s a pretty fair deal, especially since I don’t have a workshop to build stuff from scratch.

Bottom fell out after 2 months.
The boxes are not well built or durable.I ordered 6 boxes in mid February, put them together and planted in them mid March. I was pleased with the look of them but wondered about durability . The Bottom fell out of one the 1st of May! One of the side supports broke. Nails were placed unevenly and some are on the edge and weak! I’ve checked the bottoms of the remainder of the planters and it looks like sagging and drooping of the longer inside support beam in at least one side of all the others. I’m afraid all my plants will be on the ground before the growing season is thru. Very sad for my crop. Wish I’d chosen more wisely.

As shown in picture.
The ease of movement was very easy. The build quality is was good as instructions were clear and the assembly was easy. I think it was worth the money and if I needed to purchase again I would. The Design and look is pretty straight forward they are really nice. I can’t comment on water retention yet as I haven’t added soil because it’s too cold outside and my plants are still inside.

Loooooove these
Loooooove these garden beds. Required a second person to assemble, one of the two we purchased required a lot more work to get the pieces to fit. But these have held up through the weather and still look great. The fabric bed liners needed trimmed down but they are a nice touch. Cheaper than any similar ones we have seen at Costco, etc. Would get these again
