Will likely result in dead birds
I had birds flying into my windows for several months, seeing their reflection, defending their territory. I wanted this to kill birds. Some reviews complained about this being too tangled to spread. I totally disagree with this assessment. It was very easy to spread to poles for mounting. Would not recommend for banding since the birds become very entangled and difficult to remove without injuring the bird.

Does what it is supposed to do
Works well trapping birds. I used it to keep birds from building nests in a boat. Just draped it over the boat. Also used to keep the little buggers out of some raspberry bushes via the same method. It does kill the birds which panic and die so if that bothers you maybe you should try another method. I find the dead birds make a great food supply for the local lake turtles when you shake the net. Who knew?

Works well
Who is used to capture some bats in our attic and it did its job. Can be a little frustrating to get it hung up because of how thin it is but that’s just the way the product is.

It’s good!
I wanted to monitor my attic for bat activity, thus far I have not captured a single bat, I assume that means there are no longer any bats in my attic. I spent weeks going around the whole house sealing up any possible gap, apparently I succeeded. I mean, I should say, I sealed up all the gaps and I still saw droppings but I guess I must’ve found the gap on the second go around, I see no more droppings. This net is really amazing! It is all but completely invisible!

Lethal to Birds
These nets appear to have absolutely no research value and their only purpose would be to kill birds, not capture them. They are 0.08 mm (extremely thin) monofilament nylon with 15x15 mm mesh. They are so thin that if a bird was to hit them and become entangled, the material would almost certainly cut the bird and it is not durable enough for someone to actually untangle the bird from the net. The material is extremely light and it seems that instead of dropping into a trammel (there are none), the bird would only continue to entangle itself and likely cut itself. I do not see any research value in these items and suggest that their only purpose is to kill birds. It appeared to me that this is far worse than even the "bird netting" sold at garden stores which at least has a smaller mesh size. The 15x15 mm can easily entangle a head or wing of most songbirds. I have reported them to the USFWS and State Wildlife Agencies.
