Can this razor be used by women for shaving legs????

Another lady asked a similar question. I will relate the same advise I shared with her...I am not sure how this electric would work for a woman. I am guessing not very well. But I am a guy, so I am just guessing. However, my wife uses the "Panasonic ES2207P Ladies 3-Blade 'Close Curves' Wet/Dry Shaver". It is not very expensive, it is sold here on Amazon. She says it is a pretty good little shaver for times when she is in a hurry. Of course a razor with hot lather is better, but if you are short on time and want to be presentable it is great. That is mostly why I have the Remington F5-5800A. It does not give a close shave. And my skin is sensitive to many electric shavers which do shave close. So I use this Remington when short on time it's great. I hope this helps. Best of luck to you.

My F5 5800 was made July 27, 2020 and has lithium, which charges faster, leaks voltage less, and isn't affected much by memory. The earlier models had NiMh; however, in the new 7500d, Remington switched back to NiMh. They said customers said the TSA is trying to limit devices with lithium-ion batteries as they can be more dangerous. NiMh don't have the danger issues.

HOW SOON DO THE BLADES BECOME DULL?

I've been using it for a year and though it doesn't cut as fast or as close as when new, unlike ALL the other razors I've owned, it still does a great job. I love this razor, it's far and away the BEST I've ever had! I believe the manual suggests to change the blades every 6 mos., which with normal use is too soon in my apinion.

I am looking for a shaver that will shave my head bald, any suggestions?

The BEST head shaving stuff I've ever seen is http://www.headblade.com/product/150000.html. I use their HeadSlickshaving cream for regular face shaving. So smooth. I do have this inexpensive electric shaver. It does shave very well. I've used it as the odd day shaver and travel shaver. As a wet shaver I never use foam Its either Cremo shave cream or HeadSlick. Wet face, rub in Cremo or HeadSlick, shave with the 5800.

these are very good quality heads from Remington , I have replace many times over with good results.This has kept my shave like new for over a decade. I will certainly by Remington again when the unit finally fails to charge.. dg

The charge lasting is good. 4 weeks still 40 % left

The long lasting charge is the best.Don't know how good is the pull and push mechanism for head removal as seems may wear off after multiple pulling out the head for washing/cleaning. My earlier Panasonic had a push button to release the head and lasted me 4 years till the battery stopped retaining charge for even one shave
