All in one...
I have several skillets in my kitchen some quite pricey yet I continue to look for the perfect skillet. Thankfully I think my search is over. Since I have received this skillet it is the only one I have used. From cooking eggs and sausage in the AM to baking a casserole in the evening I just can't understand how it is so versatile. We have even used it right on the dinner table. From the initial presentation to clean up this skillet is amazing and surprisingly I am enjoying the smaller 9" size. I usually go with larger is better but as we scale down our cooking sizes it is very convenient to have a smaller pan. When I first took it out of the box I was disappointed that there was a paper ticker on the bottom and I started thinking of ways to get it off without scratching up the skillet. Imagine my surprise when it peeled fully off leaving no residue behind. The lid fits snuggly on the pan although it will fall off if the pan is tipped over, please don't ask how I know. The lid is also very shiny, not that that says anything about functionality but you can see your reflection clearly in it. The color of the lid contrasts nicely with the skillet and the skillet goes well with my black table setting.Heat distribution is even and I found that there were no hot spots in the pan even when cooking on the smaller eye. The versatility of being able use the skillet in the oven very nice. This skillet has taken nonstick to a whole new level. I fried potatoes in the skillet because it is one dish that I purposely burn a little on the bottom. The first thing that I noticed, not necessarily with this dish but in cooking eggs and other things the oil I would normally add to prevent sticking was not needed. After cooking and eating and then resting for a while I thought that I would have to let the skillet soak to clean it but the pan came clean like it has been soaking for hours. I hand wash it as I do all of my dishes. The skillet has a nice weight to it and sets well on our stove flat top as well as on our cooktop. I was thrilled that it worked on the induction cooker. There are so many great things to be said about the skillet and I can't think of anything bad. Admittedly it is a little pricy but I would prefer to spend money on a nice set of cookware and have it last than to pay $20 and have to replace it annually.Full rating of 10 because this is the last pan you may ever need.

Non-stick No Longer
I purchased pan in July 2024. Enjoyed cooking my veggies in it. It is now the month of October 2024 and pan no longer is non-stick. I am very, very disappointed.

Good quality but shallow
It is a non toxic coating pan. It is not deep enough for me.

Healthier cooking ~
The frying pan is easy to use and clean. I don’t need to use much oil to fry my food. It releases food easily, much better than my old pan. Its size is good—not too big for my small family and not too small. It also has a lid, which helps with certain dishes. It works well on my gas stove. The heat distribution is decent. So far, I am happy with its performance. My eggs are perfect with this pan.

Heavy duty cookware
This is a fantastic piece. As a classically trained chef, I am picky about my cookware. I love this and I use it often. It has the safe non-stick coating, not Teflon, and it has real staying power.Eggs, saute, simmer, you name it. Easier in this and the clear lid is genius.I handwash all my pots and pans to make them last longer and I do the same for this one. Sometimes I do put the lid in the dishwasher.Exceeds expectations.

Nice cookware, but a bit pricey
Overall, i have enjoyed using this cookware. It's a bit larger than what i usually need to use, but I do find myself using it more as i find it better when there are kids around as i don't need to worry as much about the handle sticking out and getting knocked over or pulled down.Since it is all metal construction, you can use it in the oven as well, which is very convenient and helps me remove some clutter as i can use this on stovetop and in oven.My only complaint is that it's a bit pricey for a single pot, but you are definitely getting a good quality skillet that is multiuse.

Terrific non-stick skillet but handles get hot
This is a review for the Alva Maestro Non-Stick 9.5" Skillet. The skillet is very well made and beautiful. It cooks super well and the non-stick surface is probably the best that I have ever used. The skillet needs to be handled appropriately so that it is not damaged and information on its care is printed on the box.The only con is that the handles get hot, which was unexpected.
