- This charger appears to be a duplicate or poor‑quality unit. - Purchased in August 2025, and by December 2025, the charging cord cable shorted with huge sparks - The main charger block makes a rattling or loose‑fit sound, as if the outer casing is larger than the internal components. - This raises safety concerns and indicates a manufacturing defect.

It doesn’t work

I purchased it a couple days ago and after using for just two days it literally stopped working......I have never seen such kind of worst quality.

I bought this for my ASUS TUF 2024 3070 gaming laptop. It works a dream, been using it for a nearly a year now and had zero issues. Great value for money, charges just like the original charger. I use this as my travel charger as my original is plumbed into my desk.

It charged my laptop battery for a day and kept it charged but today it is not supplying enough power , useless !

I have been using this for almost 2 years now. Works very well and haven’t had any issues. It is not cheap but at least you get it once and forget about it.

So I take my laptop about a lot, but also use it as my main computer. I have a setup at my desk and all my cables organised in a specific way. Having to remove my laptop charger from my carefully designed cable management is a hassle, so I always get a second charger for these kinds of things. It works! I have the Zephrus G15 2022, with the RTX 3070Ti and 1440p screen. No complaints here, i just wish my laptop had a longer battery life hehe. Though these chargers are annoyingly expensive. Unfortunately it's the only option and it works so whatever.

This is the third charger I've had to buy for my laptop, as previous chargers have lasted no longer than 2 months before they fail. I only ever use the charger when the laptop battery is low, yet somehow over time the charger head and pin slowly heat up and bend out of position, resulting in poor/unreliable electrical contact. I've also noticed a slight burning smell towards the end of their extremely short life cycle. I've had my laptop checked by repair specialists to inspect for faults in either the charger port or other electrical components, however nothing has been identified. The build quality of these charging devices has been deemed to be poor and unreliable for the devices they are supposed to be compatible for.
