Disappointing overall to say the least
I read reviews and saw people found them small, I bought large and they're tight although comfortable when on. The problem is they are coming apart with the pulling on and off. However the biggest issue is they are certainly not thorn proof despite being suggested as.Overall quite disappointing considering the brand

Great buy
Repeat purchaser, when a pair finally wears out I buy another. These are excellent, they fit like a second skin so are extremely comfortable and give great dexterity. Can highly recommenc

snug fit, no loss of feel or control. Not designed to stop thorns I suspect.
I bought my first pair of these from a local DIY/Garden Centre, I liked them so bought further pairs from Amazon. If you want thorn-proof gloves, then these are not going to satisfy you. But if you want gloves to wear while directly handling thorns, thistles etc, I would suggest that you might want gloves that go past the wrist, in more of a gauntlet style.I think of these as excellent work-gloves, they provide a certain amount of padding and an excellent amount of grip on the palm and fingers. They are enough to protect your hands from brushing against thistles, brambles etc but would NOT protect you if you want to grasp them, or while extensively pruning roses. The other thing that might surprise people is the sizing/fit. I usually wear 9-10 work gloves. The XL in this style is a snug fit for me - but that is the intended style of the glove. If you look at gloves worn by military, mechanics, then they are not loose fitting. They fit fingers and palm snugly and allow me to use hand-tools with no loss of control. Because they are intended to be close-fitting, they require slight stretching to put on initially.I wear them for general gardening work (digging, cutting back hedges, bushes etc) and general DIY work. Most recently I was scraping tile-cement, wallpaper and glue, (walls and ceilings) and started developing a blister on one thumb from the constant pressure I was keeping on the scraper (I am redecorating/refurbishing an entire house and not just one small room). After the first day I wore these gloves- simply excellent!I have given only 4 stars rather than 5 as I think a size-guide would be useful - I think someone with very large hands might be surprised at how tight these are, but i generally wear XL at work - but those are impact resistant gloves and designed to have a looser fit.

Better than handlady
Love these wish I’d bought them sooner, been through 5 pairs of handlady gloves in last 5 years, these look like they will last but only time will tell

Order a size up.
Good gloved, but thr XL is definately what I would expect from a L.

Sizing is normal
I cannot relate to the sizing issues raised by other reviewers. I was replacing a pair of these I bought in 2015 from amazon but instead of the 'medium' (M) size I bought previously, the new page showed these as 'extra large' now. And some revievers have talked about these being generally under-sized gloves. I am male with medium to small hasnds, 205mm around the knuckles. Even the size sold by Amazon as 'large' are too big for me, and the 'extra large' finger lengths are about 20-25mm too long for me.

Perfect for my needs.
Great clothes that fit me well and have a high-quality feel. Be aware the size was stated as Xtra Large - I would say that was wrong and the clothes we got were more like a small size. Other then that size issue these clothes are great ; )

Not worth it
I'm a professional gardener and needed some gloves that were light weight, durable and water proof. Not these! Not water proof and not durable or up to the spec of gardening. Ripped withing 3 days and soaking wet within 1. Only thing I can say is they look good and feel good but other than that don't waste your money.
