Definitely a good starter kit for younger kids looking to get into STEM. I think that makes the price easily worth it. Probably not going to get more than a couple hours out of it though.

My 8 years old boy love it. Some pieces could be challenging. But he took his time getting to know how everything worked how to connect everything and power it up. It is pretty cool how it is solar and how it moves.

I'm an adult, but ordered this because it looked fun and interesting. When I got it, I was reminded of building model plains and ships as a kid. The plastic molded snap-out pieces (oh, so many of them), we both a blessing and a curse. It will occupy LOTS of time, but will also teach. A simple example is that the instructions start with telling how to inventory the parts and group them into provided packages and apply appropriate labels before you even start building! Hours (I mean HOURS and HOURS) of "fun". But along the way, seriously instructive.

Box came in completely destroyed like it had been kicked around. Box was dirty and print worn off. Was meant to be a Christmas gift but I guess I’m just keeping it to tinker with myself, can’t be bothered with a return.

Found a way to get kids off of their iPads. Give them something to make and learn while they are building it.

I got this for my 12 year old son to put together. He had a lot of fun and it works well

Its a nice gift for older kids… i feel like its too complicated for a younger child to build. My 12 year old nephew is excited to play around with it. Pretty cool, I recommend.
