50 Amp Industrial Connector, 8AWG 2 Pin Waterproof IP67 Plug & Receptacle for Solar Array Charging RV Camper Trolling Motor (Blue)

wanted a connector for my budget car hauler trailer build. I just needed a bulkhead connector for the Winch wiring so that I could make the winch easily removable. The quality of this connector and ease of assembly is MUCH better than anticipated. I like the push-lock design and the red twist release is quite smooth. By no means military-grade, but for what I needed, it's perfect.

Used on my Minn Kota 50 lb thrust trolling motor. I had previously purchased two other products, one was no where near waterproof and the other sized wrong. Well this was the ticket. This has sufficient amp rating to handle the load and has large enough connectors to handle the larger sized wiring. The finished product is tight secure and pretty much waterproof as I saw no evidence of moisture when I disconnected after use in both normal weather with typical splashes as well as raining days. The flush mounted design worked great for my application as I ran the wires underneath to the 60 amp breaker. I did need the use of a small hole saw. This now allows me to easily remove my trolling motor and connect in just moments. Highly recommend

Perfect connector and it is very easy to set up. I used it to augment my Travel Trailer roof solar panel. The port I set up was on the storage compartment to charge my 800ah battery bank quicker. A slight inconvenience I wish it came with a bit larger 2.25 inch screws. The connector feels well constructed and mates and locks with precision.

I found it a very good unit. The locking feature is great. Only thing I am disappointed in is the cover for when not in use. It fits very loose and doesn't lock on allowing it to come off when mobile. Other than that it was great and an easy install

8 gauge wire is pushing it to get it in. Needs a cover/cap for male end when not in use.
