Clairol Blonde It Up Crystal Glow Toners Demi-Permanent Hair Dye, Radiant Opal Hair Color, Pack of 1

I've used this a few times now. And I have to say for me, it works out perfect.I start out with bleaching my hair and I end up with, of course, yellow orange hair every single time. Then I taldry, blow dry and then I use this toner and yes, it makes it darker, but it really does. Give me like a ashy blonde color that I like and that I want and the orange is gone. The yellow is gone I mean, this stuff really works, it does what it says it's going to do, and if you pay attention. To the box and actually read it.I've noticed a lot of mixed reviews, well it actually gives you what it says it's going to give you.It doesn't have a light blonde hair.On the front of it, it doesn't have light blonde hair on the back of it. Your hair is going to get a bit darker, and then it's gonna wash out a little at a time and feel lighter as you go. For me, that is perfect and I love the shade. I have to admit when you first use it. It's like, oh my gosh, as you're watching your hair change colors and it looks like it's turning brown, almost, so you only need to leave it on there.Ten minutes, maybe and for me, i'm where I need to be no more orange yellow.Now I have a nice, pretty blonde shade, that's a bit ashy, and I like that.... if you want blonde hair as in light blonde hair, choose the other color there's different once you don't have to choose this particular one I think everyone is misled because they look at the front of the box and they want the girl's hair. That's on the model where you're not gonna ever get exactly what's on the front of the box. That's why you need to flip it around and check it out. And keep in mind that she does have an ashy tone to her hair. Not a cool blonde color if you're going for that. Go for cool like blonde colors and they actually have a box of that and I've used it and I prefer this one, but everybody likes what they like. As for the mixed reviews, this stuff is great. It gives you exactly what it's it says it's going to give you, and I absolutely love it, I. Depend on it, it's my go to toner. I hope this was helpful to someone out there. So if you're not looking for light blonde hair, this product is a good product, it's a great product. It gives you an ashy blonde that fades a bit as you go, and it's very pretty...

This is the shade that you’re looking for to blend it all together, if you had my second picture hair problem. I love the result. Can’t beat the price. This is my new color. Not harsh and doesn’t require you to be perfect- easy to apply. I used two boxes. Love love love it.

DO NOT BUY I am in tears. I have shoulder length hair, I have been growing it out. It is longer than I have ever had. My hair was silver roots about 3 inches, the rest was very very light blond. Bleached I have had pink hair before. I used a different brand then and it was a permanent color so I decided just because I was trying to grow out my natural gray hair I would get Demi perm instead even though I knew it would need redone more often. Well I used Clairol’s blonde it up crystal toner in the shade Rose Quartz. On the box it showed my normal hair would look lovely with this color. However when I put it on I was a little worried but I told myself trust the process. Well I should have washed it off immediately. Not only is my hair NOT pink, it’s not blonde anymore and now looks like crap.

I'm a pro and I've done hair for 30 years, and this is the best toner I've ever used. Neutralizes ORANGE which is nearly impossible without it resulting in a strange color.

I recently dyed my virgin (never dyed) dark blonde hair with Madison Reed’s Pisa Blonde 9NA (never again!) and 24 hours after that my hair turned orange! I cried and felt so ugly. It may have been multiple factors but one thing is that I have a lot of iron in our well water so I think I had this underlying warmth. About 3 days after I used this in “luminescent pearl” and it turned my copper hair to a nice neutral blonde again. I left it on for 25 minutes and made sure to do the roots first because I had “hot roots”. I’m so incredibly pleased. This product literally saved me hundreds of dollars since I didn’t have to do color correction at a salon.

I used the color Pearl, which is in my opinion kind of a soft pink in the product photos. I think this gives me a very slight strawberry blonde, which I don’t mind, but I wouldn’t say it’s a pink tint, more of a red tint. I’ve used it twice and both times were about the same. I use it in between salon visits, at about week 5, so it also very slightly lightens my roots. Knocking a star because the color isn’t a perfect match to the product photos, but overall it’s easy to use, and it isn’t too damaging.

Really didn't see any change in the shine, but otherwise okay.

I have been getting my natural dishwater blonde/bronde/greige hair highlighted about every 4 months the last few years. I travel a lot, I'm exposed to the elements often, don't usually bring haircare/blonde care products with me, so my hair color suffers a bit in-between appts. I bought the Luminous Pearl Color recently in an attempt to tone, blend roots, and cover minimal grey strays in between appts. I definitely didn't get the hair results that are pictured, even though I left the solution on for a bit longer than the recommended max time. But I'll say that this did a great job of blending my warmer toned root growth with ashier colored highlights, while doing a nice overall ashy-beige tone that was starting to look a bit brassy. I only wash my hair about every 4-5 days, so I'll have to see how this washes out, but even today, I don't think my hair lady would be mad or even notice that I tried to do her work without her 😅

I usually start with a light ash blonde or very light ash blonde. The ash hair color is the only one that does not turn my hair orange. I do however end up with lots of yellow all over. I used a feria toner which worked perfect. Once my hair started to grow out with roots about 1/2 " to 1" I used the luminous pearl blonde it up. My hair turned the exact color on the box, darkened my blonde to the point it blended my dark brown roots. This has allowed me to go several weeks longer without doing a root and or all over blonde dye again. Absolutely love this product!! BEWARE IF YOU ARE ONLY TRYING TO TONE YOUR BLONDE HAIR THIS IS A DEMI PERMANENT HAIR TONER AND WILL DARKEN YOUR LIGHT BLONDE HAIR. I also maintain my home dye job with purple shampoo every couple of washes and use color gloss when my hair needs some deep conditioning from heat styling! I know sounds like a lot of work but blonde hair requires maintenence whether you home dye or go to the salon!

The colour on bleached blonde hair does not even come close to the colour advertised on the box. It’s like a light ash brown with a slight pink hue. The colour is ok if you’re looking for something normal ish. However this was a complete disappointment to me and I will not purchase again.

Love this stuff! This is before and after, it did exactly what it was supposed to do - hair feels soft and the color is great.

Not nearly as vibrant as advertised. I left it on to develop for an extra 3-5 minutes because it wasn’t really doing much, and it’s still nowhere near the box’s colour :/

It added shine to my hair, it's softer but I know it won't be for a long time.
