Purchased these a few years ago and dropped them into a Mockingbird and they sounded awesome! I play metal so they were a good fit with incredible sustain with harmonics. This set though....... Neck pickup was hot, around 9K ohms. The bridge pup was only registering 12.5K ohms; not as hot as advertised. Returned this set for another set and the same readings. I'm not sure what changed in their factory, but please change it back. I'll try to drop them in and see how they perform. Overall, for the price, great pups; just wish they had a higher impedance.

Pretty good for the money for sure. Neck is hotter than what it say's on specs. Mine tested at Neck:9.2k Bridge:15.2

I recently replaced the stock pickups of my Schecter Omen 6. These pickups are pretty hot for a “metal” tone. The wiring was quite simple to follow. I decided to take it one step further and split coil the pickups, adding a nice option to my guitar. Great product for a project guitar.

I bought these back in July and have been chopping at the bit to find a project guitar to install these in. Well it finally happened. And the verdict is...... these things are CRAP!!! They sound like garbage. No definition at all. All that expectation and then a huge letdown. Save you money......

Just installed these bad boys in my Washburn. They sound pretty good! 20 dollars well spent indeed!

Was not even close to stated specs. Thought i got a bad set so got a replacement. Same issue, about 1/2 stated resistance. Niether set had any markings stating meck/bridge which was why i had to measure them in the first place. Got a refund

I made this purchase and have no regrets. The specs on mine were on target. The neck was a little hot, and the bridge was clear but not thin. I put them into an Epiphone and they sound much better then the Epiphone set that came in the guitar. They respond well to my home made, hand made double gain stage tube preamp that I invented. Very warm and rich. I would set these against any pickup in its price class, and many in higher echelons as well.
