I purchased this after my dog suffered a nearly fatal attack of pancreatitis. Her health has been great since her recovery. I don’t know if this supplement is responsible for her well-being, but it’s inexpensive enough to keep her on it indefinitely. One container will last a year for my 25 pound dog.

Absolute must have for any dogs who have trouble with their pancreas or digestion. I have been using this for about six years now and it has absolutely saved my dog's life. I definitely recommend.

My dog has been suffering with severe allergy problems for about 7 years. I experimented with many foods and settled on Taste of the Wild about 2 yrs ago. This helped some but still did not keep her comfortable. She smelled bad, had constant skin issues (infections, flaky skin, excessive oiliness), ripped her hair out by the bushel, had chronic ear infections with weepy goopy eyes, and acted obsessive compulsively about licking herself. Repeated trips to the vet produced sympathetic responses, but nothing that really helped. I had to treat her ears pretty much every day with Otomax or Panalog or she had them ripped open and bleeding. She couldn't be outside for very long because she would get excessively itchy. Giving her antihistamines and bathing her with cortizone were somewhat useful but I didn't feel it addressed the problem, just covered the symptoms enough to make things bearable for her. A friend of mine whose dog seemed to have similarly severe issues told me that she tried putting her dog on probiotics and saw an improvement. Willing to give it a try I purchased this product and the Probiotic Miracle in mid-December. When it arrived, I was skeptical that it would help; after all, if this was the answer, why didn't the vet recommend doing this a long time ago? Well, I will tell you that my dog has been on this for a month, and she is growing all of her hair back, she no longer smells awful, she has not had a single ear infection, and she is generally much calmer and happier. She is still getting some eye goopiness but that may be things working their way out or due to the dryness in the house since it's winter. We'll see if it keeps up. I was told by my friend that the person who told her about using probiotics said that you need to give them for as many months as the dog is old in years to see the true results. I have 10 months to go in that case, but I am thrilled so far. I would highly recommend this combination for anyone with a dog who has allergic problems or just skin issues in general. I am going to try them for my cat next because she loves to barf her food on my carpets, and I am wondering if this will help with that.

Product is fine. It helps my dog's health issue by reducing inflammation of the pancreas. But, what is up with the packaging? It is only half full! Not only is it deceptive to the buyer, but more importantly this is such a terrible waste of plastic, especially with our over-polluted planet.

I was inspired to write the review taking a look at my healthy 15-year-old pup after last year being worried about unexplained weight loss and being bony. It was upsetting to the veterinarians who suggested we do bloodwork which all came back pretty normal so they did not know how to explain it. I did my own research and found this product. I've been using it on his food as well as my two other pups for over a year now and he is so robust not bony at all healthy weight and full of energy as well as illustrious coat. I do give the pups a few other supplements so I don't know if it can all be attributed, but I do know that the weight loss specifically seemed to reverse from taking this so if you are dealing with a dog's unexplained weight loss I highly recommend this product..

Great product, helped my GSD who we suspect has EPI. Give it 2-3 days, be consistent, mix it well with the food as directed and let it rest for 10min before feeding. It works really great!

Easy to use. The dog seems to like it and it definitely help him gain weight and keeps big poop solid

I use this for my 4 dogs for years also past dogs Pomeranians there on a mostly Raw diet works wonders . I add to their food. I usually buy the small one only because it’s neat in on counter. But for cost efficiency I bought the bigger one this time as shown. But why dies the container have to be so large and be more than half empty. That’s annoying to me. Who wants that bulky container sitting there like that . Come on NUSENTIA WHY?? You don’t think when your customers open this up there not annoyed. We get it settled but not that much . I buy the other size. Product works well. But because of this horrible packaging I gave 4 stars . But I do use n my dogs have been using for at least 6 years or so . Wonderful product. Came originally recommended buy a very well breeder .

This product did not work for my German Shepherd (who was diagnosed with Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) at all. After a month of use she actually lost more weight. Have moved onto another Enzyme replacement product. Hopefully that does the job.
