This is the second case we've done and despite being labelled as 4.5/5 difficulty, was more manageable than the first one- partly on account of the more modern setting and partly because the case was broken into segments. Staying away from spoilers, it's a fun few hours. You can probably get through the material in good time but pulling the trigger always seems to take a while so I'd maybe add an hour to the estimate, unless you're Hercule Poirot. Great as a night in for couples or groups, not a bad price for an evening's entertainment. The materials as always are well presented and good quality, with lots of subtle organic hints. Would do another.

Played this with my husband and daughter, first time trying this style of game, excellent, absolutely hooked, brill way to spend the evening and so interacting! Can't wait to try the other games!

This was probably the most fun I have had solving a fake crime. Cryptic Killers have created a game with twists and turns at every corner. This took me roughly 3 hours, maybe more, but it is so much fun to play by yourself or with others. It also has an online element where they provide hints, more evidence and where you can upload your answers. At first, I was a little off put by the price, but now that I have played it, I have bought two more! It is such a great gift and really good price wise for the content that you get and the effort that they put into it. My only issue I had when completing this was I really wanted to know why it happened. I won't include any spoilers in this review as I don't wish to ruin it for anyone who plays in the future. However, I would have liked to know why the killer did it as it didn't feel like it had a satisfying ending, they included the online explanation of what happened which I thought was a good summary, but all I would suggest is WHY it happened and that would make it all that much better. BUT... With that being said, excellent game, had loads of fun and strongly recommend you purchase

Really entertaining and engaging game. Took us a bit longer than stated in the blurb. But really satisfying game. A great way to while a way a few hours.

To begin with it was a little bit confusing, but we managed to do it all in about 2 hours. It was fun and interactive and got everyone’s brains ticking. Great value for money and gets everyone off their phones for the evening. Somethings that you think may be useful may not be ;) Set out a big area for all the paper, and a spare notepad and pen for all the clues you’ll find :)

This was really good fun. We completed it without hints which made us feel very proud of ourselves. We enjoyed the fact that it was broken down into 3 parts so we actually spread it over 3 evenings which worked well for us.

We had such a fun night solving this. It made us feel like the detectives we imagine we are. Very detailed and well put together. I will definitely be ordering more.

My teenage son (14) and his friends enjoyed it. It took them about 45 minutes but they had fun working through the clues and they have asked for a few more.

Really fun game. Took us few hours for 2 of us to play
