I don't typically need to run with trekking poles all that often as the vertical I get is pretty manageable without them. I do have some events coming up that get some serious vertical so I decided to snag these as its better to have something than nothing at all. They are really light weight and fit in my running vest in a variety of ways so taking them along on my usual run was super easy. They unfold and click into place easily and after a test run with about 3,500 feet of vertical I am a fan! For sure made tackling the uphill climb much more efficient and for the cost these are the perfect solution for my needs.

Purchased these specifically to use in the Grand Canyon with the idea to use them for trail running also. They were great, I had never used poles before, it took a little while to get the correct gait pattern, but these made ascending SO MUCH EASIER! I was surprised the amount of work taken off my legs by using the poles. Lightweight and easy to pack.

I did the Timberline Trail around mount hood last year and bought a pair of the Aonijie poles. I absolutely love them! They are light, strong, easy to deploy and look great too! I was shocked by the quality of such inexpensive poles. Best bang for the buck of any of my running gear.

These poles broke after my first time using them and I can’t return them. Would recommend spending the extra money and get the black diamond poles.

I initially bought a different pair for trail running and found them to be too bulky. I ordered this set and practiced with them, then used them on a 50k trail race. They’re lightweight, easy to assemble, and sturdy! I have tried a friend’s $200 professional trekking poles and found these to be comparable.I’m 5’6 and found 110 to be the perfect length.

I bought these poles looking for a value pole that I could use for ultra marathons without breaking the bank with carbon…the price and weight were right on and I’ve used them 3 times now on 30-50 mile runs. Very easy to stow and engage and super helpful on the hills.I had one issue with one of the poles where the small spring loaded tab that keeps the poles locked fell out. I messaged the company a photo and they sent me out a new pole right away!
